Slowest service EVER. No parking. Service is.... just.... so.... bad..... Bring your own napkins. Theirs are tissue-paper-thin AND they only give you 1 per person. You have to continuously request more tissue paper for your salsa spills. They refill your Sprite with water, so watch out for that... AND when they do get you a refill on your soda they take your used glass and straw into the back, refill it, and bring it back. I was honestly worried about the waitress and her bad attitude spitting in my drink when she brought it back to refill it...... For almost 10 bucks I got a vegetarian enchilada. Looked like frozen Steamed carrots and broccoli inside, a scoop of sour cream, and a couple avocado slices. Taco bell looked more filling after I saw my plate. I'm a 5'5" girl and it just wasn't filling (picture attached). My daughter got a children's quesadilla and a soda. Her children's plate with drink was almost 9 bucks! With refills and tip our bill was almost $30.... for me and a 2 year old.... the second star is for their salsa (which is tasty) and an extra hand girl who continuously refilled our chips and salsa since our waitress was no where to be found. She also picked up the waitress slack and brought us a box for my childs leftover quesadilla and the bill. Our waitress finally showed up again at the end to collect her tip. I wish I had cash so I could tip the girl who actually did all the work instead of our waitress who hardly...
Read moreI really don’t give negative reviews lightly, but I would not return here. We love jalapeños, but they were closed for the holiday weekend so we decided to give another place a shot. I wish we wouldn’t have chosen here. From the get go service was subpar. We were one of the only tables in the restaurant and it was beyond slow and disorganized. They kept sending different servers to our table and they would have attitude when we would say we asked the other girl for something we still hadn’t received. Our appetizer was never rung in, we had to ask for coke 3x, we asked for napkins 5x until they finally brought some. My enchilada had no sauce and had rice and beans inside, so it was essentially a burrito. My boyfriend asked to get a Jalisco burrito (chicken, steak, shrimp) and was told no even if he paid extra for the additional meats. He ordered Jalisco fajitas and literally got 3 pieces of shrimp and 3/4 onion/bell pepper. Everything was super greasy and just not good. I don’t have high expectations for Mexican food in Idaho, but this was awful. My singular “enchilada” aka burrito was $15. The fajitas are at least $5 more than other places and they charge more if more than one person is eating them so you can’t share like you can everywhere else. The lack of service and straight up attitude from the servers paired with the poor quality of the food made for a very poor experience. My boyfriend never complains but he was very dissatisfied with this...
Read moreMy husband & I were not impressed what do ever.... Service was poor, beans with salsa & chips was ice cold, no one around for a long time so to ask for fresh warm beans. Then took waitress about 20 minutes to get back with us to order our food. (Other customers came in after us and was served first.) Food, when it came, was of course sizzling hot ( Bed & Chicken Fajitas) and pretty greasy. Waitress was not very attentive and when we were done and ready to pay ( our Bill was $34 and some change) My husband handed her, the waitress, $40.00 cash and she told him that she can't break that much cash and that they didn't carry that kind of money. Husband wondering why she couldn't cash it and asked so how am I supposed to pay my bill? She stormed off to the kitchen and was heard saying I need $5 dollars, I need $5 dollars now..... She came back to my husband and handed him the $5 dollars so he handed her the $40 and was like ohh k??? I guess she can keep the changed that she still owed me, because our meal was $34 and some change, and use it for her tip!!! This is the second time at this one in Caldwell and won't be back, EVER. ONTARIO'S Fiesta Guadalajara is WAY Better. True...
