Pocket Deli — Restaurant in Rancho Cordova

Pockets seem to have very little meat and mostly veggies not worth the price for that!! It seems the owner has an excuse for every bad review instead of fixing the problems that the reviewers addressed. Ok best rated sandwich. Oh my crew was never rude maybe have a team meeting and fix the issues and stop blaming the patrons who pay you money. Maybe your French dip is your highest seller. I ordered once before because it’s the only one that has meat as the main ingredient. Meat and cheese. The rest are so packed with everything but meat: I have been there three or four times and only the French dip did have meat. The Rueben sub par and others all lettuce. Even looking at the pics of people who posted 5 stars the sandwiches are all lettuce. Must be the owner or his friends posting to raise star level. A trick my wife does to working fast food to have friend and family post high in rank to raise the star level. What a spiteful and hateful Owner, will insult his patrons. And tell them to Never come back instead of fix the issues. Yes my First review should tell you something. I am not one to complain I just usually don’t go back and never recommend. But the way you address your negative comments, deserved a review. Just add some meat to your sandwiches and apologize for your flaws. Stop attacking customers who do not agree. Since I don’t agree I must be a competitor. How sad your life must be to find an excuse to not grow into a better business. Good luck for your future, people will read this and see how you treat...

I am disappointed. The food on their menu looked very good. I placed my order online with the chownow link it has at 9:52am. I ordered a sandwich and soup, to go obviously, as well as requested extra pesto on the side and lots of salt. When I left my work on a quick 15 min break, because they are only a 3 min drive away, I got there right at the time the order said it would be done BY 10:13am. On arrival I noticed I was the only customer there. I walked in and they asked if they can help me I said I placed the online order and here to pick it up. She didnt seem to know about it and asked the guys making stuff if it was ready and told me they were just now making it. There were about 5 employees in the back and a manager in an office and no customers. I was in a hurry and didnt leave until they were done at 10:20am. I could tell none of the employees really cared about customer service while waiting so I had a feeling they weren't going to read my request of extra sauce and salt. I was not mistaken and they didnt even put a spoon in my togo bag for my soup. Sandwich was amazing but the soup was to gelatinous but I suppose you get what...

I absolutely love Pocket Deli! This place has some of the most delicious sandwiches I've ever had, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. One of the things that really stands out to me about this deli is the quality of the ingredients - everything is so fresh and flavorful! I especially love that they make their bread fresh every day - it has an amazing taste that you just can't find anywhere else.

Another thing I appreciate about Pocket Deli is their manager, Allen. He is an amazing manager who truly cares about his customers and takes pride in the food and service that they provide. I always feel welcomed and valued when I visit this deli.

Lastly, I have to mention their rewards program - it's really good! As a frequent customer, I love being able to earn points and redeem them for discounts and free items. It's just another reason why Pocket Deli is one of my favorite places to eat.
