I don’t even know where to begin with writing this review. I placed on order for takeout from this location on 9/24. As I was eating my apple walnut salad I noticed something unusually hard at the corner of the container. As I poked at it I realized to my horror that there was a dead mouse/rat in my salad. I am absolutely mortified and horrified at my experience. Aside from the psychological stress I’ve been subjected to, there comes the threat to my physical well being by being exposed to potential virus and bacteria which could be carried by this contamination. I sent a photo of this to the restaurant and have since been contacted by several individuals from Luna Grill’s management. All they offered were useless apologizes and empty promises of a full blown investigation. I have also reported this to the County of San Diego health department. Considerate Service & Great Food. It was my first trip to Luna Grill and very memorable. the staff was patient, describing items, and even paying attention to my tomatoes aversion. They made sure that a item which included them, did not have them for my bowl. Everything was very hot, very fresh, garlic aioli strong and flavorful, hummus creamy, the basmati rice was perfectly prepared, couscous yummy, I could've eaten a whole bowl, the pita bread was hot with the spicy dip, everything.... extremely tasty. The pomegranate tea was delicious, the seating was comfortable and made for a great destination to catch up with a friend. I look forward to returning.
