If I could leave no stars I would.
Our waiter was Laura . She walked to the table with attitude and said “what do you want to order” We told her we’d like to sit and enjoy our flights for a minute and then will place our order. She clearly didn’t like that response rolled her eyes and walked away. We sat with empty glasses for over 40 minutes as she ignored our table and serviced every table around us. No look, no acknowledgment, NOTHING. Not even the opportunity to flag her down.
I had to walk up to the hostess counter inside to get a check and they took forever to find my order and then had to hunt down the waiter who was no where to be found because my order wasn’t in the system and she didn’t believe me when I told her what we ordered .
I was then charged DOUBLE for the flights because I didn’t “dine in” when we planned on eating there we just never got the opportunity to place an order after sitting for over an hour . I stated we planned on dinning here but you (Laura) never returned , her response was “well you never told me you were ready” my mom responded “were we suppose to yell at you from across the restaurant” and again another eye roll from waiter .
I take my family here ALL the time and have never received this type of service .
I have patience I don’t mind waiting but after being completely ignored , and watching others receive service and attention and it WASN’T a busy peak hour with plenty of tables open there is no excuse we were ignored CLEARLY on purpose all because I wanted to enjoy a drink and converse with my parents before ordering food.
After complaining at the front desk the guests behind us told us they were in line to complain about the SAME waiter with the...

New 34 days soft-opening, great place for Breakfast (7am) and Lunch (til 3pm) in Rancho San Diego. Hubby and I went for the first time today, we saw it being built (took over 3 suites totaling 5,000 sq feet). Has 2 outside patio areas which allows dogs! Yeah pet friendly restaurant in Rancho (much needed).
When we drove up, there was ample parking, but we saw several groups waiting outside in welcoming bench areas. The restaurant provided fruit flavored water for passersby and folks waiting. We gave our name to the hostess, party of 2 (inside, outside shaded patio or next available seating), we chose next available. Went outside to wait, but it was about 1 minute and the hostess came outside and called our name.
We were seated inside in a window booth. Our waitress' name was Marta, she was delightful! Very attentive, professional service and had a smile to light the room.
We were visited at our table by Customer Service Representative, Roy, who was funny, courteous and made our dinning experience more memorable. A welcome addition to this new establishment and the careful management orchestration of heightened dinning experience. Good job.
Our food was presented and plated well, plus tasted delicious, good blend of flavors and seasonings. The Pomegranate Mimosas were refreshing, coffee refilled quickly. We even had a table side visit from Ishmael the Chef wanting to know how our food was and was it to our liking. Another excellent customer service touch.
Would highly recommend this location, gave it 5 Stars on Yelp review. Bravo and Kudos to this new location and it's...
Read moreAbsolutely disappointed and beyond upset. This place had been really good years ago, but it has definitely gone down hill. First off lack of utensils obviously I don’t blame the servers as they are busy bees, but I do believe in having the proper utensils available before you seat someone. On to the primary and most disgusting reason above of all. The food. Absolutely horrid, i’m trying to refrain from cursing but nothing can capture my anger, disappointment, and disgust. I ordered two Border Benedicts for my table, at first everything was alright, but i come to find out it was simply because of the sauce overpowering all the other flavors. So I, myself tried the cornbread and it was horrible. It tasted like fish, full on undeniable fish. The server tried blaming the poached eggs being on top of the bread, but that wasn’t the case as the other border benedict had fried eggs not poached. It was disgusting to the point I could not hold down my food and threw up in the bathroom. Along with the fiasco of the fish benedict, my sister ordered the kids pancake, right off the bat she was picking at it, it’s unusual for a child to not be excited for pancakes, so I tried the pancakes and the batter was horrible. I don’t know if changes need to be made to the kitchen or this place needs to be inspected but this was absolutely...
