My wife and I were introduced to Paesanos through her membership at Scribner Bend Vineyards. We enjoyed the food we had there so we decided to visit the restaurant.
After having good experiences at the restaurant we decided to visit on a Saturday evening to celebrate Motherās Day a day early. We were seated promptly and our server, Andrew, came shortly thereafter to take our drink and food orders. Everything was going as expected until it got towards the second half of our visit.
Our server just disappeared for the longest time, not checking in for drink refills or anything else. By the time he finally showed up, we were nearing the end of our visit. He disappeared again and we sat there for another 20 minutes waiting for him to bring our check. I had to approach the greeterās desk to ask for our check. The greeter had to leave to look for Andrew and came back to notify us that he had left work for the day.
Kerel came shortly after and apologized for our main server leaving without notifying us that someone else would be servicing our table. He provided us with the check and went to service the many other tables he was serving. Since we had waited so long previously, we brought the check to the greeterās desk and asked if we could settle the bill there. The greeter said that the server would come take care of the bill, so we waited another 15 minutes before Kerel was able to make it back to our table.
All-in-all, my wife and I were very disappointed by the service received today at Paesanos. To feel forgotten by staff as customers is not a good experience to have.
We love the food at Paesanos and hope they can elevate their service to match the high quality...

Unfortunately when going this past Sunday it was not the same. My Father, wife, and I were sitting in the booth facing the bar in the middle of the restaurant.
We were there for 20 minutes and for some reason not acknowledged at all. Literally dozens of employees walked right past us. I have never seen anything like this.
I finally said something to a young girl who seemed very confused but I let her know that we had not been helped.
She notified the bar tender who then notified a server which was another 10 minutes. A bit mind boggling as they were not that busy. Not busy enough for that type of delay anyhow...
I am not sure if we were being judged for some reason but I was there with my wife, and Dad visiting and the complete lack of acknowledgement was cringe worthy as it was appalling.
So, I am going to have to say on this one occasion the service was horrendous and considering we were in the highest employee trafficed area and ignored I must leave a review to ease my mind a bit.
I am interested in how this restaurant is managee on a day to say and how employees are treated as everyone there seemed to be incredibly unhappy and I have never witnessed an environment like this. Maybe I was projecting but something was off undoubtedly.
I still left a 20% tip on a $113 Bill as I am going to have to give the staff the benefit of the doubt that this was a one off scenario.
I do not want this review to stop anyone going to this restaurant but needed to vent my frustration and share...

It was nice to know that a quality restaurant still stands behind the motto that the "service" of the restaurant is just as important as the food. My wife and I decided to stop in for a bite after a long day, and had always had a good experience. We sat at the bar since the restaurant was full, and ordered an appetizer and a couple of entree's. We were the only people at the bar. When we received our appetizer, several more people sat at the bar. After awhile, we noticed that the other people were getting their food, and we hadn't received ours. We asked the bar tender and he said that there was a mix up in the kitchen. At this point, it had been almost an hour since we sat down. We did eventually received our food and began to eat. At this point, I was considering asking for the manager. To my pleasant surprise, the manager came over, apologized for how long we had to wait, and took the appetizer off our bill and gave us a 30% discount on our bill. Because of this gesture, not only will we continue to come back here. It prompted me to post a review that I feel they deserve. Thanks for still recognizing that...
