I don't go to Starbucks regularly since 2018 when they got my order wrong every single day for one whole week straight.
I run a business so I am hyper aware of details. I repeated my order twice because the girl said did I hear vanilla? They always add vanilla even when I don't say that word.
The girl got annoyed and possiblly left my lid totally 100% completely off ON PURPOSE. I even tipped a $1, just because I saw it was busy and appreciate their having to deal with nasty people. Its not much but as I explained to the young lady when I walked in to tell them that details matter.
I don't blame the individual if she did it on purpose but I blame Starbucks and other corporations that produce robots with the IDGAF attitude. I explained to the cashier that my husband & I are doing a Keto Diet. I ordered drip decaf-coffee with room for heavy whipping cream. I was told to request heavy cream when I picked up my order because it is not available at the condiments stand.
I requested heavy cream at the Pick-Up, they admitted that they had substituted 1/2 & 1/2 for me. I asked again for heavy cream finally they got the heavy cream out of the fridge for me.
I ordered "Sugar-free hot chocolate" with 1/2 water & 1/2 heavy whipping cream, for my husband. They substituted 1/2 & 1/2.
When I pointed out the error they did not offer to redo their mistakes.

Read moreI been going to Starbucks for more than 5 years now. Whenever I ask for extra caramel on my drink they put a good amount that’s normal. The extra is usually saying you want it as a drizzle. I have NEVER experience this before. They put almost half of my drink full of caramel. It’s about 1/4 full of caramel in the bottom and it difficult to drink out of it because of the caramel that’s in the bottom. I did not want to complain and make them remake it because of the whole situation with COVID-19 but I don’t think this is right.
