Taco Bell — Restaurant in California

Was a 1 star but I gave a 5 star for willingness to correct what they did wrong. My kiddo & I are tight financially but needed lunch before she had athletic practice. I had a coupon that had 4 different buy 1/get 1 options on it, *no wording that I could only use 1 out of the 4 per visit, *1 of the 4 items had a typo (buy 1 get 1 burrito AND $1.00 off burrito). I describe the above coupon & explain the typos in drive thru & ask for the bogo instead of $1 off. She says Ok, she will make adjustments when I arrive at her window.

I order 2 of the 4 options: bogo 2 burritos & bogo 2 tacos. At window I'm charged full amount for all food w/ ONLY $1.00 off- the female argues "only 1 deal at a time, and we can't honor buy 1 get 1 for burrito". I respond, "I explained all this already & you said ok initially, so why now can I only have 1 out of the 2 ordered, I am paying full price for the tacos, & I cannot have the bogo burritos? The typo is not my fault & the coupon does not indicate only 1 use at a time?" She was rude but handed it to mgr. With no communication (not good) they handed me all of the food (tacos too) and $4. I thanked them for the $ back but returned the tacos thinking "they said I could not have 2 coupon orders at a time". They said they gave it to me on purpose. My kiddo had a grateful smile.

They had poor communication but they did right by us. I paid for 2 bogos and got 2 bogos in the end. I shouldn't have had to fight for it but for yrs now, businesses do not care for their customer's experience & their staff aren't humble so when anything close to that happens...I am quick to...

The food was good and it is directly across from the hotel those were the only positives to be honest. The service was very slim and honestly a little rude. We had a 4 person order, 2 breakfast boxes and 2 breakfast burritos with 4 drinks. Well we asked for our drinks after receiving the food and had a heck of a time just getting our 3 Sierra mist and 1 coffee. Come to find out the machine is down, which is fine, but no reason to be rude about it. It was 9am-ish so maybe that was a factor?. Also could use a good cleaning, reaching in to get a packet of ketchup... The whole lot of them came out as a chunk and sticky. Napkins and little messes were everywhere for only having 2 small...

Went on my lunch break. First time in a while drive thru attendant was very dry I couldn't understand anything he said I kept having to ask him to repeat himself but communication was horrible. Next I get to the window asked again what was he asking me. But communication was just poor no effort nor enthusiasm. I finally gave up. I get my food and head back to work. I grabbed my drink I'd ordered and to my surprise there was barely any ice my drink was partially warm. I get back to work and prepare to eat my lunch only to find out that my fries and nuggets were dry and I had no napkins Horrible experience. Too many mistakes .. I don't recommend this Taco...
