I have been using Methodology for about 6 weeks. I am very happy with my experience and plan to continue with it as my week to week meals on an ongoing basis. Basically, I ran into a situation where something in my schedule needed to give. I had too much for the hours in my day and decided that I would outsource meal and food prep. I did pretty extensive research and chose Methodology for a couple of reasons. A big thing I wanted in a service was meals wholly prepared, using clean ingredient and nutritionally dense. A sustainable long term option that brought value and more wellness to my life. Next I wanted to make sure that the items were able to be heated on a stove and were ideally not in plastic. I had a target protein suggested by my family doctor and I wanted to know the nutritional information for the meals that I was eating. An added bonus is that the founder of Methodology aims for 30 different vegetables in the meals per week for optimal gut health. The meals being chef driven and flavorful is very important to me too and very obvious to me in eating the meals. I wanted to enjoy my meals more and Methodology adds a lot of value to my life. The recipes being created off of blue zones is an added bonus! I really enjoy every meal and there is a great variety of flavors, textures and ingredients. Since moving out of NYC a few years ago I miss the foodie scene. Methodology has brought me a lot of joy and reminding me of the wonderful food experienced in cities. The meals are easy to heat. I usually heat in a pan on the stove and they are ready pretty quickly with accurate heating instructions. I just pick the meal plan out on a week by week basis depending on what my schedule looks like. They offer 3 meals a day for 4 days or 2 meals a day for 5 days. I like that you can customize the portion size to standard or large for the week. I usually order the meat + vegan plan. I struggle to meet protein goals when eating more vegetables so thrilled at the work they do to make it work. The protein truffles are AMAZING! I love them and genuinely look forward to them every day. I am enjoying adding matcha to my daily routine and the ACV shrubs are awesome! While eating Methodology I have noticed my energy levels pretty stable throughout the day and my indigestion is non existent. One surprise to me is I truly avoid mushrooms because of their texture. I literally never would choose to eat them. I am aware of the importance of eating a variety and am happy to share that while they will never be my favorite food I do eat them in the meals prepared by Methodology. I find them to be pleasant and add to the meal which is never a sentence I thought I would say about mushrooms. Overall I have had a very positive experience and recommended it to a few friends. I will continue to utilize it as my go to for weekly meals. It is a bit like having a private chef at a fraction of the price. Their support team is super responsive and helpful. I think it is a great company with a lot of heart and look forward to my Monday deliveries! P.S. For anyone who is in to reducing waste, a local organization that exists to break the cycle of poverty by providing crisis assistance, case management, and educational programming, LOVES when I bring in and donate my Methodology bento boxes and jars. They put them in a little free store they have for people in need and say that they are literally all gone the same day they put them out. I just wash all of the containers keep them in a reusable tote and pop over to the charity whenever I can. It is really nice that the meals are not only nourishing and helping me but that the containers are having a new life to help break the poverty cycle. It is just a win all the way around.

I have been eating the methodology program for about 6 weeks now. I have lost 8 lbs so far, and have noticed improvement in my energy. There is a huge variety in the recipes, and they provide options for vegan, pescatarian, and meat eaters. The ingredients are definitely of the highest quality. The portion sizes are great - that was one of my biggest concerns before starting, but the quantity of food is very filling. I also don’t feel like I am deprived of anything - we get “treats” (truffles) as a snack daily. Plus their are noodles, rice, potatoes, etc so I am not finding myself lacking/missing any kind of foods. I am mid 40s, mom of 3 kids, and 5 pets. I have an autoimmune disorder called Sjögren’s syndrome. I help my husband run his very busy social media platform for his business and work as an RN part time. I had been trying to lose weight for the last 2 years, doing Pilates 5+ days per week, and taking our dogs on a daily trail hike. I ate mindfully and have been a pescatarian/vegetarian for over 20 years. Nothing was working. My dad passed away about 2 years ago now. He had terminal liver cancer and my siblings and I were caring for him in rotations for 24 hours per day for about a year, with heavy care from me the year before that as well. I was juggling that as well as my own household, and during that time put on 20+ pounds. I was sleep deprived and depleted emotionally, physically, and mentally. After dad passed I had done 6 months of counseling to help myself process everything, returned to physical activity, etc. I finally feel like I am starting to make some headway in getting back to the person I used to be and hopefully fit back in to my clothes. I am currently starting to work with someone on optimizing my hormones in case that is also a factor in the weight gain, but meanwhile this new meal plan has been giving me a boost and helping me work toward my goals.

Methodology is a dream meal program. They call it "luxury nutrition" and it really delivers on that promise. Eating delicious, healthy meals has never been more attainable. I am personally excited by the plant-forward focus. They aim to feed you 200+ different plants per week, and that's evident in every bowl. Adding a little bit of MANY kinds of vegetables is extremely difficult to do at home. Methodology can do it because they are cooking at scale. Adding a few tablespoons of cabbage to a soup or stew gives you that plant diversity without the pressure of prepping and using an entire head of cabbage. I started Methodology as a way to eat more plants and different kinds of plants. After enjoying the meals for over a month, I can honestly say I crave vegetables and healthy food more than I did before. It has been a training program for my gut microbiome and allowed me to foster bacteria that love vegetables! What a gift. As a classically-trained chef, I know good food. I enjoy the diversity in ingredients and flavors in every meal. I can count on 2 fingers the number of meals that I didn't absolutely LOVE, but the vast majority are a dream to eat. The beef borscht I had a few weeks ago was one of my absolutely favorite soups of all time, ever, anywhere. Everything feels thoughtfully imagined and carefully crafted. Beyond that, the ease and convenience make following the lifestyle so easy. I feel like a new person, and I've never eaten better in my entire life. I'm so grateful to live in a world where Methodology exists.

Like many, I love trying food subscriptions. Ive tried them all, from the grease laden grossness that is Factor to mediocre Sakara, and none have met the bar Methodology has set. The service has been, interesting, but the food is absolutely exceptional. Not an overstatement. It's exceptional.

Registration: This is the part that is really manual. You choose what plan you want, how many days etc. etc.... Pay. Then you get a confirmation message, like receipt of payment and email confirmation then quiet. It was a Sunday and there was no info (that I could find) about how to switch meals, etc...and a few days past and Im like, whats next?? I sent an inquiry and got a few emails, some communicating different things--it was just an odd experience. Most services have everything embedded in the website or an app, but this group seems to do everything very manually. You want to exchange meals, you have to email them and tell them what you want to swap. The meal list is a pdf they send via email. I think it's also on the website, but the website is not very user friendly IMO. This service is very connected to people. This isn't a bad thing, but it's new when used to just using apps to do everything.

Food: This is the winner. It's exceptional. I dont think I have ever had a food subscription that was so incredibly wholesome, satisfying, diverse and delicious. The meals Make Sense. Familiar foods and ingredients coupled with fascinating sauces. Great macros. Ya'll, The servings are actually servings for a whole normal person. You will actually eat a meal, a delicious meal, and be satisfied. Be satiated. One of the meals, I actually had to cut in half! I know!

Overall: There is literally no one in this company's advertising that looks like me. It was the reason I consistently looked past Methodology. Probably attractive to the majority. But after a particularly stressful couple of months, long working hours, home renovations, I just needed a bit of a reset, a prepared reset, that supported my macro needs, wasnt swimming in oils and gunk, didnt require me to cook, and that could really contribute to clarity and energy as good food does. Methodology checked the boxes for me. The meals are delicious and incredibly healthy and satisfying. The packaging is a bit much but it's all recyclable so it's all good. The vegan protein balls---are you kidding?? Theyre amazing! How do I even get more of these!? I'm just really impressed with Methodology. If within your budget, and youre looking, I'm confident you'd enjoy, maybe even love...
