I almost wasn't gonna say anything but something caught my eye at this location and I feel compelled to bring it up. I actually had a pretty good experience working out here: the premises are clean, quarters aren't cramped, good variety of weights and machines... But as I was leaving I saw a sign on the door. It said if you bring a guest into the building, or if you hold the door open for someone who says they're a member and forgot their key, your account will be charged $250. TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS. I definitely understand the need for deterring unpaid individuals from using your gym. But I've been to a number of Anytime locations around the country and never have I seen such an unnecessarily heavy-handed approach. A $50 penalty, sure. But to know that management has the power of charging you that much for something that could have been an honest mistake (door doesn't close all the way, etc.) or even holding the door for someone you know is a member who just slipped up once and forget their key at home, would make me strongly question signing up at this location. It just shows a strong lack of trust in its members; the Anytime that I'm a member of relies on the rapport it establishes with its members to not let outsiders in, not exorbitant threats. I have never snuck anyone into an Anytime nor do I ever plan on doing so, but this approach bothered me and I hope maybe management can consider a...
Read moreThe facilities are clean and machines are great for most gym goers. Prepare for having to cancel your membership. I moved and when I called to cancel I was told I needed to come in person or email request. I've moved so of course, I emailed requesting to cancel my membership. I never got a response. I then went through anytime fitness website and was told I needed to mail in my key fob and fill out a questionnaire. I decided to make the trip to the gym to just cancel the membership in person. I was given the same questionnaire and noticed at the very bottom before signing that I would be charged an additional 30 days. Mind you, my access to the gym (key fob) was now turned in. When I asked why I would be charged an extra 30 days when I no longer have access I was told, "that's just our policy." I did not sign the questionnaire. I would not recommend this gym solely based on the cancelation run around/last...
Read moreNicely cleaned and compact gym. Has the equipment you need for complete workouts. I can usually find times during the day when I can come in and complete my training regimen uninterrupted. They're picking up business fast though, so there are more times when they're busy-ish. Great for them, but not for me. Most of the staff are nice, but respect your space when you're focused. I LOVE that kind of gym etiquette. I don't talk much at all, because I train quite intensely and usually don't have alot of time (work 10+ graveyard shift). Good atmosphere, good equipment, clean, times when it's not busy. Cardio equipment tracks your workouts, wifi, and some nice occasional challenges posted along with free classes! All pluses there! And now I can move around to all gyms if I need to, anywhere in the country. That's awesome! Oh and thanks for fixing the water fountain. It gives nice cold water for...
