Fuji is one of my favorite restaurants to go to, whether it's for a dinner date or a birthday -- It's not a fancy place to get dressed up for but if you're looking for good food & service - this is a promising place to hit. My favorites are their salmon sashimi plate, alaska handroll, spicy seared salmon, and the caterpillar roll. As for their apps, I usually grab a miso & the veggie tempura (I personally ask them to only give me the green beans, so good)) PRO TIPS: 1- As it goes for any AYCE restaurant, I'd recommend saving your appetite for this as you may want to eat more than you can. 2 - If you have a small group (less than 4), try to get the bar so you can have the revolving sushi bar in front of you which is fun for friends / family that haven't been before. 3 - Ask the sushi chefs for half the portion of sushi rolls, especially if you want to try more things & are starting to fill up. I have this restaurant down at 4 starts as I think there's room for improvement within the service department: It would be for the waiters to check-in a bit more frequently as I feel like they typically only check-in on you when you're first seated to get you drinks & apps but they rarely come back around unless they're dropping off your check at your table (this is coming from someone that goes probably once a month). Overall, I always recommend this to friends that like raw fish & sushi.

This place does deserves 4, however is lacking a good supervision and managers touch. No doubt has a great business model with digital check-in, limited dining time, excellent cleaning requirements (not a single dish during our bunny experience was left dirty on the table). From the moment we came in on Saturday at 5:45 PM we had to wait till 6:45 PM to get seate at the regular table. Come on, people came later, and were seated ahead of us. Well, we got a cool spot right at the end of the order line that constantly kept on changing. Great service, and excellent busboy, that kept on coming, and taking care of us throughout the experience. Food wise - I would like to go back for more! With the variety of sashimi and rolls, they have, that food intake could never stop. Good idea to have the customers dining time limited, otherwise they would need to put the dolly by the door. Would definitely stood out, was a Fresh Fish Combo and Hamachi Kama. Dragon roll was the beast, however, could not compete with the rest of the menu appetizers. Ambience is something that requires the attention Constantly moving tables make this place look disordered. Some chair renovation might be needed as well. Most importantly, the check-in line and positioning within the dining hall is what matters and does requires management support. Please come in and give this tasty, Japanese restaurant a try.

Fuji sushi was the most unusual experience I've had so far here in the Bay Area. The restaurant was completely packed, but it was uncomfortable. The way they serve is really cool, and the fact that they have a conveyor belt for those who sit at the bar makes the experience even better. The bar is definitely the best place to sit. There, you'll have a chef who will always ask you how things are and if you need anything. They restock all the sushi all the time, so everything is always very fresh. The price is super fair for what it offers and the variety of food. It's totally worth it. The only thing that left something to be desired was the dessert. The fried banana needed a sauce, maybe dip it in cinnamon sugar or some Nutella to dip it in. The Gyoza was delicious. I particularly like it fried, but it also needed a sauce. The experience was an 8 and I would go back and highly recommend it.

It's an all you can eat rice and surimi shop. It's not a bad place, but it's not a traditional "sushi" restaurant.. quality and service is lacking, but price for quantity makes up for it. It's good, not great. Much of Fuji and traditional sushi 🍣 restaurants is similar, but fuji you can't get a gourmet roll. You can get cuts of sashimi and plenty of surimi filled rolls and unlimited drinks of their soda fountain, bonus if the waiter is ahead of the game fills you up before you empty otherwise its a bummer looking for a sip and having an empty cup.

It's a buffet like any other, only a Japanese food food buffet. Highly recommend if you like buffet sushi 🍣 but the lines are confusing and may lead you never to eat there again because of its disunity and lack of organization in flow. It's a sloppy atmosphere, with shelves of made rolls but tou have cut in front or a line of people its so off putting.

And if you oder anything fried, I highly recommend don't eat alot of it. I don't think they change their grease daily, they might, but I've gotten sick myself and have been with other people that have gotten sick if they order too many deep fried foods. Their grease definitely, without a doubt, makes you sick. So I stay away from the tempura 🍤 😒 and fried pot stickers. I wish they had steamed pot stickers.

But for big appetites it's well worth it. They have alot of options. Order a sashimi plate from one of the chefs, that's definitely worth it. It is what...

There's a lot to like here and the sushi variety as well as the pricing is pretty reasonable The line seems astronomically long both times I've gone We waited for an hour and a half as the tablet we signed in for told us to and then we went up and talked to someone after standing at the counter for probably 20 minutes and they told us oh it actually looks like your last in line so it could be up to another 2 hours we don't know I'm sorry about that. I believe they told me it was because the estimate was given by Yelp and not by them in which case they should tell the customers directly that the wait times are not reflected by yelps que or whatever We decided to go home at that point and then our number was called which was both frustrating and a great relief as we finally got to eat at the place It was an extremely tasty experience I'm a big fan of sushi buffets especially ones with high quality is this again it's a little bit on the pricey side but I think that it's worth it If you're new there make sure you mention that so they'll give you a quick briefing There are certain things that you have to order at the table and then there's certain things you have to order at the counter and then there's some things that are just constantly on the conveyor belt definitely ask if there's something specific in mind

For a moment I wanted to give this place three stars but it's...
