Habit Burger & Grill — Restaurant in Concord

Really bad 😞 service today . I am a Regular customer the manager got very mad I ordered one chicken club and a chicken Caesar salad and I order 2 small kinds milk shakes Manager refused to sell the shakes I told him that I ordered before here and also in Walnut Creek I didn't want the regular side then he turned around and walked away I told him to wait he came back and told me that we are in 2023 and that's why they don't have small milk shakes I think we all know that we are in the year 2023 then he told me to leave or he will call the Police on me I said really then we both have a big argument in front of all the customers this never happened to me before I had been going to eat in both places in Walnut Creek in South California Blvd Gery Road over the last 9 years and about 11 times in Concord AV because I work allover in Contra Costa co. this happened in lunch time the girl in the register was nice but she was new and keep asking him for help with the register even with the customer before me It Was not a Good day TERRIBLE Horrible Manager Service then I went to Walnut Creek to order my meals to go I WAS IN Walnut Creek at 12:25. I've eaten at all three Contra Costa locations, and all three have limitations. Timing is everything at the WC location since it's downtown & adjacent to a high school. The Pleasant Hill location is a joke - two other restaurants & an organic food supermarket share a small retail center - virtually impossible to park here at lunch time. Concord is the least accessible in terms of sitting for a meal. Whoever planned this place should be fired - it has the least seating of the three in an area that has : a major hotel, golf course, a college and three schools nearby, and is located on a street with heavy travel. The food is still in beta - fries are sometimes good, sometimes over-cooked; the burgers are good, but the condiments are disorganized. Paid 17.50 for a bbq bacon burger with a combo meal, 1/2 sweet potato fries, 1/2 onion rings. Came with a medium drink.

First some complaints. The medium drink is the size of a small at other fast food places. Got 4 onion rings in a half order. Burger was small (seemed like less than a quarter pounder). Some of the lettuce was browned/slimy.

Food tasted fine; decent amount of sweet potato fries for a half order, lots of bacon, however not sure where if you could call it a bbq burger; no bbq could be tasted. 90 cents for cheese; just build that into the price, cheese should be standard.

I like the idea of the place, food made in front of you, however for 17.50, I should go away more full than I was. Portion size was disappointing. Great service, good tasting food, but...
