Susie's Bar — Restaurant in Calistoga

We were at your establishment on Sunday 9/7/2025 between 3.30pm and 6.00,pm having a few drinks. Everything was good until the bartender a gentlemen made the decision to put a twenty percent tip on the bill without asking us. I put my credit card with him when we got there and when asked for the bill he got the bill and said he put a twenty percent tip on it. We both work at a large well known prestige hotel on the strip in Las Vegas we were in town for a wedding at the four seasons the night before. We were shocked that it is allowed even though he told us as he presented the bill. It's wrong for bartender or servers don't tell customers what to leave unless it's a party of six or more and stated on menu. We would have left him more but the decision that he made was wrong nothing to do with the amount it's...

We loves Susie's...we come here August & March for our birthdays and everyone that works here so kind...we had a funny/weird incident that happened Wednesday night 8/3, my fiance gets punched by a local girl. We all laugh about it....we had no idea why my fiance had to bring her outside to show her that I was his fiance. Me and my group just waved said HI..then found out she punched him 🤣 We still love Susie's....lol ❤️ it was halarious and he wants that local girls insurance information...🤣🤣🤣 That girl got a mean punch....he was sore for a few...

Great place. The bartender, Elle, was awesome. Thanks from Steven and Ashley! They've got a great whiskey selection, from Weller Full Proof, Pappy, Thomas Handy and William Larue Weller, to smaller distilleries like Woodinville. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering most places in Calistoga are on the expensive side. Couple pool tables, a smoking area out back. Great vibe about the place. We'll definitely come back next time...
