I had to come back and fix my review to give it one star as i got extremely ill that evening and was sick. Did not get gluten free pasta even though I ordered and even asked waiter if it was gluten free when it was served. We celebrated Mother’s Day at Chianti, thought this would be a great spot, really nice staff and yummy menu. Well, our evening shifted when the sun began to set and glared directly in while we were trying to eat dinner. Asked the waitress to drop the blinds, they didn’t then I tried to take them down and guess what? They are broken! Owner comes over and makes us feel like this is all our fault the the blinds are broken, doesn’t apologize and we spend the dinner with Sun glaring on our family, so bright that we had to wear glasses. They pretended it wasn’t happening. To top off the evening, I ordered gluten free pasta. When they brought my dish, the pasta looked exactly the same as everyone else’s. I asked the waiter if my dish was gluten free and he replied that it was. You can guess what happened to me in the middle of the night, super sick and doubled over in pain. No sorry, nothing. Can’t imagine they can stay in business when service and attitude is so sour. If I could give zero...
Read moreIf you’re looking for an incredible Italian dining experience in Camarillo, Chianti is an absolute gem. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and outstanding service that set the tone for a memorable evening. The pizza? Unbelievable. Perfectly crispy crust, rich and flavorful sauce, and the freshest toppings made every bite a delight. You can tell that a lot of love and care goes into crafting their dishes. The highlight, though, was the owner. Their passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere and delicious food is evident in every aspect of the restaurant. They took the time to personally check on our table and made us feel like family. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Chianti is a must-visit. Five stars aren’t enough to capture how amazing this...

When she called our waiter over to discuss the fact that it had capers and a cream sauce, he matter-of-factly said, "I love capers, don't you?" She then mentioned the cream sauce, he says, "Isn't it great?" and that was that. She basically ate it. He did not offer to exchange it, nothing. The dessert was great and the other waiter who also assisted was great. But again, for the cost of this food, you would think they might want to make the customer happy. We...
