It's Boba Time - Camarillo — Restaurant in Camarillo

Not bad for an outlet mall location. The drinks were good. Made quickly and as ordered. The flavors were good. We got the Taro Milk Tea with milk foam and egg custard, a strawberry peach tea, and a lychee tea slush.

The staff could have been a little more friendly. She likely was having a bad day. Didn't smile. Didn't greet. When I asked her to repeat herself as I didn't hear her (I'm hard of hearing) she looked annoyed. When I first inquired about cheese foam or milk foam she just tapped her hand on a sign that was on the counter instead of speaking and telling me my options. I felt very rushed and I was the only person on line at the moment.

Otherwise, no issues. Parking is tough here on the busy days so this likely isn't a spot you want to come to just for a boba tea as you'll likely have to park far...

The store is small and there’s not an area where you can sit and wait. However, they’re pretty quick with serving drinks! It’s a cute small store between sunglass hut and Tommy Hilfiger.

We were welcomed with great service and a warm smile from our barista. Service was 5 out 5! He was patient and kind when we looked at the menu. It was my friend’s first time here and my first time at this location.

I went for the jasmine green tea and boba drink. It was just the right flavor - floral, fresh and subtle. Sometimes it’s hard to find good jasmine tea so I was pretty happy! The boba is sweet and chewy, they tasted fresh and yummy.

I gave it a 4 star review because I only got a tea and can’t say much about their milk teas which I know they’re known for. I will be coming again to try the other...

Fun experience it was my first time trying bobba. Full discloser didn’t get the balls in my drink. Just a shake without the balls. When the employee asked me if I wanted boba in my shake, I looked him square in the eyes and asked if that was the ballz. Smirking with a little giggle he said yes. I opted out of that. It was a pleasant and fun atmosphere. Drinks averaged priced like Starbucks or any other overpriced drink place. Will be back?? Maybe, but not for the ballz. In all seriousness give this place a chance, great...
