Caps N' Taps — Restaurant in Camas

Just don’t ask to drink one of the beers in your pack if purchasing cans or it makes them all much more expensive which wasn’t explained when I asked if I could drink one there. It would have been cheaper to buy the four pack and get another beer on tap but they didn’t give that explanation before upcharging for opening and pouring one can. Left a sour taste (not the beer) but I guess I’ll consider it a donation to a downtown business and take a break before returning. Thought I was going the economical route getting the four pack and boy was I wrong.

Edit: Dropping to 2 stars because of the response. I understand how businesses work and run, but I also understand how easy it is to follow up your question of ‘would you like to drink one of these beers here?’ with the statement ‘this $18 4pk will now cost you $25 instead if I open and pour it for you so you should probably just buy this 4pk and get a draft as well since it would be the same price because I’m cool and look after my customers and want them to come back.’

I've been coming here for years and I am so happy they're open through these tough times to supply us with the wide variety of bottled/ canned beers and filling our growlers. Camas is a wonderful small town and Michelle makes caps n' taps worth coming to. She always has a smile in her face, greets you like an old friend, is extremely knowledgeable of what she stocks, and just is a joy to talk to. A good friend of mine brought me to Caps N’ Taps for a drink and what a pleasant surprise this place is. It is embedding in the small community of Camas and has a real “Cheers” feeling. From local regulars to new comers it is a very warm and welcoming establishment to enjoy good times and a sense of community. It feels like a home when you’re away from home.
