Let me start by saying my food was great. Outside of that, the experience I just had at lunch with my coworkers was hilarious, sad, and completely inappropriate. We called our orders in ahead of time. We got there and we were asked to sit at a dirty table. I walked to the counter and asked if I could use the rag that was sitting there to wipe down the table (they were very busy and I was trying to be helpful) the blond waitress that was standing at the soda machine interuped me and said the waitress would do that and grabbed the rag from my hand. I said ok and walked back to my table. After our food was delivered, the owner came over and laid into us about calling ahead and said that if we were mad, oh well. That's not how he runs his businees. We got to go boxes, paid our tab and left. I have never been treated in such a way as a customer at any restaurant iv ever been to. Gratitude to Kosta's restaurant who provided a family funeral luncheon for us and as always, went above and beyond. Nick helped us to make easy and flexible arrangements and upon arrival, the staff greeted us and were ready with warm delicious coffee and drinks. Marcy was our kind and efficient waitress who anticipated needs before we asked and took excellent care of our family. She served us delicious plated dinners of tender roast beef or tasty grilled chicken with parsley potatoes, green beans and fresh salad. I wanted to try something different so I found this place while visiting ebensburg. I ordered the 'loaded' fries for 6.99....they didn't come with anything but cheese. Then I ordered the 8oz steak but they came out and said they only had 6oz because the truck didn't come yet...which is fine but the price was the same? My friend got a cheese steak hoagie, it was loaded with peppers and cheese not steak...to top it off I got mushrooms on my steak, green beans was the veggie, both was cold and tasteless, like they just poured them out of the can.
