Yo what's up internet! My name is Tom and this is my review of JJ's Pizza.
When I first cast my eyes upon the glorious oasis that is JJ's Pizza, I had just finished a strenuous bike ride against a strong headwind up the beautiful Route 1 with my homeslices D-dawg and N-dawg. The weariness me and my travel companions were experiencing had drained our stoke tanks and we desperately needed some nourishment to lift our spirits.
And let me tell, our boy JJ sure knows how to sauce 'em up! Not only did he christen this pizza with a generous dosage of mozz, he also left the dough on the soft side. Reminding me of the days of my youth at Chuck E. Cheese birthday parties in the outskirts of Philadelphia. Our boy J-dawg essentially allowed me to travel through time and space every time I took a bite of that chewy, oil glistened slice of heaven. I will never forget that curb in the parking lot where this sensual journey took place.
JJ gave us more than enough nourishment to make the ride back to SLO with ease and topped off our stoke tanks. There is nothing more I could have asked from this experience.
J-Dawg is a true patriot and American Hero. He deserves a spot on Mount Rushmore right between T-Dawg and our homeslice Abe (I looked at some pics and it looks like there's enough room).
This pizza is the essence of American Greatness. Would give 7 stars...

My wife and I finished a 5 day, 1200 mile California road trip yesterday. Medford, OR to Hearst Castle and back taking the scenic roads with stops in places like Fort Hunter Liggett and Pinnacle National Park. Our trip was notable for pricy, but mediocre food. Not bad food- just mediocre.
Mediocre “fresh” seafood down the road in Cayucos. Mediocre Mexican. A mediocre beet salad on the drive south. Mediocre fries.
We ate amazing food in Sicily and Naples for two weeks earlier this month, and I thought my taste buds might need recalibrating. I wasn’t about to try JJ’s so soon after two weeks of really good seafood, pasta, and pizza.
I’m glad we did try JJ’s. Our vegetarian mini was as good as any pizza we had in Sicily or Naples. Different. But just as good. Hot, tender crust. Tasty cheese. Just the right sauce and vegetables to match. Our best food experience in Cambria.
On second thought, maybe tied for best. The blue corn breakfast waffle at the Hidden Kitchen was excellent, also. Go there for a breakfast waffle and coffee and JJ’s for...
Read moreJ J's Pizza received decent reviews so we had lunch there today. We arrived around 12:30 and there wasn't anyone seated inside which I found odd considering it was lunch time. The girl helping us wasn't terribly friendly and service was mediocre. We had to ask for everything we needed (plates, silverware, parmesan, peppers, etc). They only carry boxed wine which was a bust. If they offered a red and white with some local wines and did some advertising it would be worth it. The salad had a bug in it and in my opinion didn't count as a salad - they could make some improvements there. We sat outside under the dirty umbrellas and cleaned off the table ourselves. The pizza was good and the cheese tasted like the real deal but probably won't be back to dine there. If you do go, walk down to Mojo's for ice cream, that'll make...
