We walked in here because I wanted a hot chocolate and husband was thinking about coffee. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the kind young lady very happily. I asked her about the hot chocolate, telling her I had a bad hot chocolate at another location the night before. She stated that she really like the chocolate there so she recommends it. She also recommended a Mexican hot chocolate but I took her word and got the regular hot chocolate. My husband got the mocha coffee. We were both very happy with our drinks and would definitely stop there again.

One thing we did love as soon as we walked in other than the kind young lady was that it smelled really good inside.

We have a 1 year old and an infant at the time so we carry a big stroller for both and always make sure we can get into places with the stroller. This place is not the biggest but is spacious enough for us with our big stroller. :)

Will definitely...

Great place to start your day (or for a stop as it's begun & gotten going): I enjoy the simple brewed coffee, usually the darker of the 4 varietals offered (decaf & a specialty bean or seasonal flavor among these), but have seen fellow patrons enjoy the fuller menu. Sweet & solid foodie fare is also available to go along with your brewed beverage, and Doc Bernstein's ice cream of a splendid variety is also offered as a cup or cone treat...or as the basis of yet more enchanted glories. WiFi is free and games and reading stuffs avail to accentuate a less brief stay. The baristas are warm and hospitable and the building and location are quite pleasant. Come by and enjoy your morning or any other...

I was told the employee is on her lunch break when the store said it's open and asked us to return after 15 minutes. I returned after 25 minutes to find her turn off the open sign and when I waited outside, she went in and denied to even address me. I expected her to let us know she did not want to serve as minimum courtesy. It was 5 pm and the store was supposed to be open till 8 pm. Very disappointed to have received such poor service. I was traveling from San Jose and took a detour to just visit this shop due to the...

The sign on the door said 7:30am open, it was 7:15am and she was open. Yay! We got dirty chai and mocha, both are coffee based. Perfect sweetness for me on both. The dirty chai was delicious and the mocha tasted more like Mexican chocolate. Mary was very nice, she was observant and saw me taking photos and said “Hold on? I got the perfect sign”. Indeed. They don’t charge extra for soy, oat or other types of milk. There’s pastries and small breakfast items. Ice cream and sweets.

Reviews of this area might be a bit misleading. It’s a charming beach town that heavily relies on tourists. We checked out a bunch of coffee shops, restaurants, and convenience stores, and while they were all okay, they were all touted as being amazing. This little place had two rocking chairs and a few board games. It was pretty cozy, but it wasn’t jaw-dropping as some reviews suggest.
