This little gem is tucked away a bit in between 2 rotaries in Cambridge so you'll have to keep a keen eye open for it to know when to turn!
I saw pictures of the food here when searching for nearby restaurants and when I saw the photos of their fried chicken tenders I knew I had to give this a go.
First off, note that the parking spaces are limited at the front though you can easily park at the nearby Whole Foods and walk over without any real issues.
The interior is small so I would advise against bringing in a large group of people. The place won't win any awards for "cleanest dining area ever" but it's typical for a "mom and pop" type of business establishment. They have what looks like to be a new menu display (large LCD TV's) making things easy to read.
I opted for their Chicken tender club meal which comes with honey mustard, lettuce, tomato and lots of bacon and friend chicken on your choice of bread. In addition, it also came with a choice of fries or onion rings (or both for an additional nominal fee). Their signature honey mustard is delicious (reminds me of the honey mustard at the Wings Over chains which is fantastic) and the sandwich definitely didn't skimp on the bacon or chicken.
I will definitely return to try their chicken finger sub and will probably also grab their honey mustard sauce (I believe it's $5.75 for 16oz). Price wise this place is middle of the road which prevents me from giving this place a confident 5 star rating (I can see they increased their prices from prior reviews which is understandable but...
Read moreLet me first start of by saying the price gauging from the actual cost to the prices on the sign is ridiculous. But if the food was good you wouldn't mind paying. $36.00 for a wrap, a sub, and 2 sodas is highway robbery. The steak and cheese that was ordered was supposed to be toasted with extra cheese, mayo and light hots. What was received was a dry hardened brick with no mayo, no hots and looked like a brick you would throw into to the fireplace or a stick that you would throw at your dog to play fetch....but honestly even the dog wouldn't want it. The wrap that was ordered was a Greek wrap with grilled chicken, extra dressing and no peppers. I didn't mind picking my peppers out of the wrap but the chicken must have been cooked yesterday because it was tougher than the price I had to pay for it. I'll just stop here and not go into the cleanliness of the establishment but if you want to be overcharged for poor quality at a less than desirable atmosphere then your a glutton for punishment. This place came highly recommended. But this is definitely a one and...
Read moreThe BEST sub shop I have ever been.. I work construction and eat at all different places all over the greater Boston area and in Boston. This place is my #1 lunch spot. It's been that way for 10+yrs. LG chicken finger AND Derek W Delight wrap, and a slice of carrot cake is my go to order.. Its a Buffalo chicken wrap but is has rice mixed in which makes it special. Lots of leftovers... Sometimes I drive there to get food on the weekend for my family. It's about 25min trip one way. It's that good. And the portions are insane .. Just massive.. LG chk finger side order will last 3 meals.. And a LG sub or wrap is easily 2 servings. And don't forget to buy the tub of honey mustard . I use it for all sorts of stuff at home after my chicken fingers run out... The best the best the best! It is very busy at lunch during the week.. I recommend calling ahead . I have yet to get something I don't like.. Except the pizza.. I personally don't like Greek style pizza and I'm not a pizza person in general... Everything else is...
