I had the food and i just dint like it . Its the first day of my stay in boston i had lunch here as i staying upstairs in the air bnb house owned by Rod. Im editing my review because im being threatened that i will be reported. I had the chicken and rice and the lamb chops. The spice was not upto my expectattion , it was full of horribal sauces, undercooked lamb chops , this does not taste like Mediterranean food. Just sauces cheese and rice, it absolutely had no flavour .Normally i write reviews only when i dont like the food. I know that i have eaten here and i paid cash for the food as i was staying upstairs. Well the first day i have eaten lunch and what im told is im doing illegal of writing a review because of the owner writing a negative review about staying at his air bnb house. Im just expressing myself and my views as a honest citizen when i dislike something. I wrote a very long review and after the owner threatned me that he will report me i had to change it. This is the third time im editing this review. This owner rod is a highly egoistic person and he doesnt like to change his attitude or improve the food. All the reviews which are postive which is...

Tried Pita out for the first time tonight, my husband and I both got wraps - him the kofta, and me the shawafel (chicken shawarma and falafel together). So, I'll start by saying that his meal was tasty - slightly different flavoring for the kofta than I'm used to, but tasty. My wrap ... well, it wasn't bad, but I would not order it again. My biggest complaint is that, to me, that was not chicken shawarma. I'm used to being heavily marinated, roasting on a spit, and being shaved off as it's cooked. This was not that. This was, no word of a lie, shredded chicken breast with a minimum of seasoning. Maybe this is still considered chicken shawarma somewhere, and it's just a regional difference that I'm not familiar with, but was not at all what I was expecting, nor was it particularly tasty. That complaint aside, like I said, the kofta was good, the place was bright and clean, service was good and they were friendly. Going to give it another try, but never getting the chicken shawarma again (the...

I was so, so excited to see a fast-casual middle Eastern shop open up, but unfortunately mainly found disappointment in Cambridge pita. The menu looks nice when you walk in, and food is served up pretty quickly, but that's basically as far as it goes for the compliments. The pita bread is thin and tough (and cold), the hummus is watery, the food is missing a lot of spices (especially the kefta), the green salad they serve with plates is bland, the chicken shawarma plate "served with rice" is, well, not served with rice, the shawarma itself is stale, dry, and bland (recipe: take chicken, overcook it, slice it up, cook it again, forget spices, serve as shawarma), and honestly the list goes on and on. Maybe their burgers are better? But it's called Cambridge pita... And the owners have that upscale restaurant with some good reviews, so I had my hopes up. There remains an opportunity in Cambridge for a quality casual middle...

A truly authentic meal that feels wholesome and well seasoned. Pita Cambridge is a staple for my partner and I because the quality of the food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and I never feel like I want to change anything about their recipes. We almost always order at least one Lamb Shawarma Rollup - the best part about this is that they never skimp on the shawarma. And they pair it with a really great parsley/pickle sauce situation that just makes you feel better about what you’re eating. We also ordered a combo plate with chicken and lamb - also delicious, also plenty of food, and the garlic sauce is a must for an additional $0.60!!! Lastly: the fries. This is how I tell a great takeout spot from a good one. They season their fries with salt AND pepper!!!! Key move, makes the experience great, would be a crime to put ketchup on it. Love this place, and the staff always greet us with a smile :)

I did order from them one lamb shawarma burrito and it's come as rice with not cooked meat with source that is to soured and regular bread sandwich doesn't have any relation to the burrito.... same falafel sandwich you can't test anything except the soured also have 2 small pieces of falafel which is doesn't have any test...... and my lunch which is the lamp kababo plate I surprised from that the rice not cooked its like they add yellow color to it only and the meat not cooked you can't even cut it and alot of garlic and vinegar ... and the problemits not the end of the day and the food test and cookedin that bad ... I just west my money's for nothing... I don't know how someone can open restaurant and say halal food ... then he get his money in that way from the people he sale something to trash it not to eat it .

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I absolutely love Pita Cambridge! I recently had the chicken shawarma rice bowl with hot sauce, and it was incredible. The flavors were bold and fresh, and the portion was perfect. I could honestly eat it every day—delicious and feels like a much healthier takeout option. The hospitality here is also amazing. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. If you’re in Cambridge and craving some solid Mediterranean food, definitely check this place out!
