When I arrived at the Chili’s at 6:25 (estimated time of readiness was 6:15-6:25) I was forced to wait over 10 minutes while a customer was at the to go counter PLACING A TOGO ORDER but who didn’t know what she wanted. Instead of the associate asking her to step aside and look over the menu and come back, she waited for this woman, while 4-5 people continued to file in after me all to pick up their to go orders. Finally, someone noticed we were getting backed up and frustrated so the 2nd person working TO Go came over. She asked me if I had already paid, I said no I need to pay here. I was then ignored and skipped over while she took anyone else who had already paid online and NOT in the order in which they walked in or were in line. Considering they have Ziosks all over the restaurant and I was given the option to pay upon arrival that should not have been an issue. But no, I had to wait even longer for ALL OTHER CUSTOMERS TO BE HELPED BEFORE ME, though I had been standing there waiting patiently longer. At 6:45 I got to the register and was told the associate couldn’t swipe my card without a manager. By this time I was so angry and frustrated at the attitudes of the 2 girls working to go - the manager came and rang me up while one of the girls starting cursing and talking about me as she walked into the kitchen. NOT OKAY. The manager said she would be going to talk to her in her office. Like that solves the problem? No. Clearly the processes in place in this Chili’s for TO GO are not very efficient or customer friendly at all. At the end of it all I was so frustrated at being treated like I was and had COLD food to boot that I wouldn’t dare send back for fear of them doing something to my food since she went back in the kitchen cursing and talking about me. My food probably wouldn’t have been cold if I had been taken care of at 6:25-6:30 when I arrived or shortly after instead of waiting over 20 minutes after my order was ready. If a customer walks up to PLACE a TOGO order, they should be asked to step aside to look over the menu and come back when they know what they want. Or for heaven’s sake, they had 2 Ziosks in addition to the register up there that they could have handed me to pay for my order on. If they can’t address customers in the order in which they came in and based on their order pick up times, then a new system needs to be put in place. If they don’t want to have customers pay when they arrive, they need to remove that option. But if they do, that’ll lessen the chances a lot of people will order. I don’t like using my card info online and I also don’t like having to lock in a tip amount on something before I’ve even received the food or service that I can’t change. When I was leaving, I held open the door for a woman with a walker whom I felt really sorry for because she was waiting in the curbside pickup spot when I arrived and I guess was upset with waiting there while all the folks that went in after me and came out before me and she’s still waiting on her food that was likely already ready and getting cold inside. If the to go associates can’t keep up with the curbside orders either, something needs to change. There’s no reason that poor woman should have been sitting out there waiting for 25+ minutes and no one even acknowledged she was there and she had to go inside to get anyone to help her. This experience has left me and my husband with such a disgusted feeling over this Chili’s that we won’t be back for eating in or getting to go again. And we were regulars for inside dining at least once every week to 2 weeks, only got to go this time because we wanted to watch the ball game at home with...
Read moreThe place was empty at lunch. That should have spoken volumes. Took forever to get drinks. We were a party of 10. When she finally took the food order, it took 45 minutes to come out, and it didn't all come out together. Came out in shifts. Not like the kitchen was busy! I got a three item appetizer. The sliders were awful, just tasteless. Chicken crispers and egg rolls were alright. The worst part of the experience was That the server decided to use the kiosk to help one of our elderly persons check out. When she got to the part about leaving a tip, she left her own tip and never asked the customer if she wanted to leave a tip or not on the card. Then she just handed the customer the final screen to look at the total. The elderly person didn't see that she had already added a tip and of course wasn't told. So the customer ( Who was in a wheelchair and on oxygen) completed the order and then handed her a $10 cash tip, which she took..... And never said a word about already adding her OWN tip in there. When that person discovered the error later in the day, she called the store and spoke to the manager. The manager said that she couldn't talk to her then because she had to go to another place in the store to another register and that she would call her back. Well she never called her back. So now because of the dishonesty, this customer is going to have to dispute part of the bill with the credit card company. All she wanted to do was have the manager adjust the bill and take the tip off because she had already given her cash. So the server invited herself to a $20 tip. DISGUSTING! We won't be back!
UPDATE: I was just advised by the wheelchair customer that somebody from the restaurant finally called her back..... after 3 days. It took 3 days to resolve a $9 and change overcharge for the tip. She was given some limp, lame excuse about needing to contact corporate. Really? Are we supposed to believe that a store manager cannot resolve an overcharge at the store level? Don't be ridiculous and don't insult people's intelligence. No explanation was given for the dishonest unscrupulous server that added her own tip to the bill and then took another $10 bill on top of it..... from an elderly person in a wheelchair and on oxygen....
Read moreNever returning here again and highly do not recommend. We gave this place 3 tries. 1st time we ordered pick up . They had the food ready by the time I got there . We get home everything was cold and my husbands burger wasnt cooked all the way. So I called and talked to the manager he told us we could get new sandwiches and he apologized. He was very nice so we decided to go up there another day and get the new sandwiches . We went up there and saw the manager a couple days later he kept the promise on the free sandwiches we got home. And the food was hot yay. So I bit into my grilled chicken sandwich and I bite into a plastic wrapped piece of cheese. So i know whoever cooked my food didn't actually grill the chicken . Because If you put chicken on a grill your gonna take the cheese out the wrapper to put it on the sandwich. Thank the lord I didn't choke on the plastic. We stopped ordering for almost a year. And we pass here everyday we're local. We decided to go in the other day and actually sit down. I ordered a brisket burger , it came over cooked with no brisket. I then asked for brisket and a manager brings me 1 tablespoon of brisket 🤣 is this a joke is what we thought.... my husband then takes a bite of his ranch burger. Guess what no ranch. Why are you naming burgers by the ingredients if you don't have them. His burger was also over cooked. Medium rare is a pink center not black chili's 🙄 . There is also no air conditioning in almost half the restaurant so the bathrooms might as well be outside. It would be better for this restaurant to call Gordon Ramsey and ask...
