My experience has never been what it was tonight. Tonight was graduation at Lugoff, and a lot of things were closing, or the inside was already closed, and nothing was available except for the drive-thru. After seeing what the line at one place was like, we decided to go across the bridge to Camden and get Rush's. We arrived at 9:48, not knowing that they close at 10, the lobby and the drive-thru. After ordering, we were waiting for our food. When the gentleman then asked, who I assume was the manager, something about the orders. After her response and who she went to next, we figured out the worker had just thrown all the fries away. Why????? There were people standing in the lobby waiting on food, and you had just taken them out of the fryer. I know it was close to closing, but what did you think the customers/we were standing there for - Our Health? Then she and the lady (again, I assume she was the manager on shift) and the other employees around were having a good ol' laugh. So, you're already closed, your employee has thrown food away, and we don't have what's needed to fill the rest of our order. Come to find out there are people waiting outside for food. I heard the employee ask her if she could just issue refunds, and she proceeded to say no - WHY NOT??? It's after 10, you're now closed, and instead of giving refunds, she now has to cook enough fries for 5 orders. A guy from Camden's graduation came in, and the employee cooking the fries proceedes to go and talk to him at the counter - again while said customers are still waiting on their food, that you thew away mind you, to be cooked. By the time we got said fries, it was 10:20ish, 20ish minutes past your closing time. Read moreI love this place but it's extremely irritating to order a chili cheeseburger and get a chili cheeseburger that i can't eat because they added lettuce, tomato, mayo, etc. I didn't ask for that and i didn't want it, i should have to ask to get that, this is the 3rd time I've absentmindedly ordered this by accident and it's extremely irritating, and i can't just scrape off the unwanted stuff, it'll still taste disgusting. The only way the food tastes good is without the extra stuff i don't want, I'm tired of getting this extra stuff i don't want, i want the place to change so mistakes like this happen less. On the bags for burgers there's check boxes for if someone orders something, if it isn't checked i shouldn't expect to have it on my burger. Besides that the drink machine is bad and needs an update to a newer model. Not the touchscreen ones, those also reduce the quality of the drink in favor of quantity, it needs a different model that keeps the quality of the drink intact. The service is nice at...
Read moreArrived at Rush's around 10 pm. I ordered the 2 piece wing basket. When I asked if the chicken was fresh the casher sted it was dropped 30 to 40 minutes ago. To me that isn't fresh. When asked if they would be cooking anymore he stated no. They close at midnight so you're gonna serve old chicken. So at that point I changed my order to a hamburger basket, again askingif it was fresh, because my last couple of experiences were unpleaurable. He stated that it was. Well the fries were hot but the burger was cold as so was the bun and the bun was hard and I couldn't eat it. But at this point I had headed home after a long fay and I wasn't going back to be mislead anymore. I have been a loyal customers fir decades but I have had to many bad experiences recently and I choise to no longer throw away my money and time for food that's old, cold, or just plain disappointing.
