Deli Ohio is such a gem. I seriously love everything about this place. The service is great, I love the way the food is presented, the paper takeout containers, the cute interior, the little mason jars for water! But it's of course the food that makes it. The sandwiches are always huge, fresh and absolutely delicious. They make their own mayo, sauces, slaw, sides - you can really taste it! Even a simple sandwich like a BLT is so much better due to the fresh ingredients and care in preparation.
I'm partial to the rotational sandwiches they have on a seasonal basis. My favorite is the Hawaiian - unique and delicious!! The turkey italiano is probably my favorite regular menu sandwich. I just tried the chicken noodle soup for the first time yesterday and it was so flavorful and loaded with big chunks of chicken, veggies, and noodles.
However I have to give a shoutout to my absolute favorite thing about this place - THE COOKIE SANDWICHES!!! They always have the incredible oatmeal cookie ones and then a seasonal flavor as well. The frosting in the middle is the best ever and the cookies themselves are always the perfect texture. I love all the flavors I've tried - mint creme, orange pineapple, chocolate raspberry.. yum! My husband swears by their chocolate chip cookies but I can never resist a cookie sandwich.

Read moreI give this a 5 because I can not give it a 4.5, but they don't deserve lower than that. The customer service was great! The sandwiches were also great. My husband chose a build your own (not on the menu) with turkey, ham, bacon, lettuce, onion, and light on the mayo. He tossed a majority of his sandwhich due to the amount of "light on the mayo" there was. He also chose to have a cup of chili, which he states was mostly tomato and not much like chili. He is not a tomato guy, so try this of you wish. I had a turkey, bacon, avacado, with tomato, lettuce, no onion, and mayo. If you don't want globs of mayo express to go extremely light on the mayo. I chose a cup of chicken noodles, which I am not recommending. The chicken noodle was very oily, so I didn't finish it as it tasted like I was eating vegi oil. The sandwiches were both very good and filling, so there isn't a need for the soup or chili really. We spent about $30 for 2 big hoagie type sandwiches, 2 cups of soup (mine came with chips and a pickle, which I didn't realize), a bottled water, and a cane cola. The place is worth trying again for the sandwiches and the service. They have baked goods there which looked enticing but I was full. I was offered hot coffee as well, which was nice seeing that it was lunchtime. Maybe I'll just go for coffee and dessert...
Read moreI love this little deli! The food is always awesome and the workers are all so pleasant. I went one time when I was pregnant and ordered the BLT, which I didn’t know the aioli sauce is made with raw eggs, and the cashier asked in a very gentle and knowledgeable manner if I was sure I wanted it because of the sauce and then offered a variety of different options he could do instead. I was so appreciative and impressed! He went way above and beyond what he had to and approached a sensitive subject that really could have backfired! He went on to explain that his wife was also recently pregnant and thats why he knew to ask. It made me feel very secure about eating there because I know they have their customers best interest in mind. The only thing that mildly bothers me is that the tables always feel sticky even though I see them cleaning them every time I am there. I think it’s just the finish on them, though. If I could give ten stars I would! I recommend deli Ohio to...
