I am giving 1 star simply because I had to give something in order to share this review. Our family of 7 are here Sunday July 9, 2023 and it was probably honestly the worst dining experience of my life, and I am almost 60 yrs old. We had Savannah as our waitress. We came in and waited about 15 minutes before she came to take our drink order, at this time my son ordered his appetizers of Cheese Sticks. She brought our drinks our fine, gave us our menus and then disappeared for almost 25 minutes. No appetizers, no order taking... Finally I got up and asked the lady who looked like she was serving as hostess if she could inquire about the appetizers and our order being taken. It was about 2 pm by this time and although there were a few people in the restaurant it was very far from being full and there was absolutely no other customers in our area. Savannah did finally come and our order but it was totally down here from there. Steaks (2) were tough and undercooked, 2 full orders of ribs were old and covered with cold bbq sauce, chicken tenders and fries were room temperature and rubbery. We did have one family member who lucked out and got a good hot fresh cheeseburger. We order glasses of tea that the first glass was great but every glass after that tasted of dirt. So $150.00 later we ended up leaving and over half of our food not eaten. Oh and when asked if I could speak to the manager, was told there wasn't one there but they could take my name and number.. WHY? They all saw what was going on and no one cared that the food and service was extremely bad, please don't waste your time or your money because they don't care about their...

Let's be honest, Applebee's isn't exactly known for pushing the culinary boundaries. But hey, sometimes you crave a microwaved mystery burger and lukewarm fries in a vaguely sports-themed atmosphere. If that's your jam, then the Applebee's in Canton, Texas is here to...well, not disappoint you exactly, but also not impress you in any way whatsoever.
Ambiance of Ambiguity: The décor at this Applebee's seems perpetually stuck in the early 2000s. Think faux-wood finishes, plastic booths that hug you a little too tightly, and TVs eternally tuned to ESPN. It's not uncomfortable, but it's not exactly what you'd call inspiring.
Microwaved Masterpieces (Maybe): The food? Exactly what you expect from Applebee's. It arrives suspiciously quickly, which makes you wonder if that sizzling sound was actually the grill or just a well-placed sound effect. Hey, at least it's consistent, like a culinary shrug in edible form.
Service with a Sigh: The waitstaff at this Applebee's seem to have mastered the art of polite indifference. They'll take your order, deliver your food, and maybe even refill your drink if you flag them down with a mirror and a signal fire. But don't expect any recommendations or friendly conversation.
The Verdict: Look, if you're in Canton and have an overwhelming urge for microwaved mystery meat in a vaguely sports-themed setting, then the Applebee's here will fulfill that craving. But if you're looking for anything remotely close to a memorable dining experience, you might want to steer clear. There's a whole world of flavor out there,...
Read moreI have waited to do my review because I really wanted to be able to leave a fair review. We have ate at Applebee's 4 times in the past 3yrs, and got items to go 2 times and last Saturday will be our last time ever eating at this place. Sat down at 12:15 and ordered Prime Rib Dip sandwich and it was way over cooked but edible, and we had BROCCOLI & CHICKEN ALFREDO and they brought out my order at 1:00 yes it was busy however no excuse waiting 45 min for my meal, when I got the BROCCOLI & chicken dish, there was NO BROCCOLI, so I asked waitress why no broccoli she stated "OH SORRY WE RAN OUT OF BROCCOLI and she walked off..I am sorry but as soon as it changed from broccoli and chicken alfredo to chicken only alfredo the cook/waitress should have came out and told us before cooking the meal without all ingredients. We are locals we eat out several times a week and have for years but this place is the worst place in Canton, Tx to eat at or to get items to go. Every time we have ate here a major problem occurred and it is no longer worth our money or time to eat here, we were offered no exchange or nothing. We paid the bill and left. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE EVER SAVE YOUR MONEY I removed waitress name on ticket if because this is managements...
