Full marks! Lee’s Panda Garden is hands down the best Chinese food experience you’ll find. It used to be called the Red Dragon—if you haven't been in town for half a century, that's the history. 🏮🍜
My family has been coming here for years, and I’ve got a special connection. The only memories I have of both my parents together and happy were in the third booth on the right. My dad used to refill the sweet & sour sauce by swapping bottles with the next table while I was under the table. Spicy mustard was always there, too. 🍯😄
When I was a toddler, I once dashed into the kitchen before my parents could stop me (I don't remember, but they still laugh about it). The staff was always patient with me, which is something I’ll never forget. 👶
My go-to order? Sweet and sour chicken, fried rice 🍚, and wonton soup 🍲. My late mother's favorite was always the Governor’s chicken—not General Tso’s, but darker, more decadent, and less spicy. Sometimes, when I miss her, I order it in her memory and shed a few happy tears. 💖
They’ve kept the same golden glassware for my entire life, a testament to their care and consistency. A hot tea on a chilly day is just perfect. 🍵❄️
The layout feels like a time capsule—the painted wooden arch with the Phoenix and Dragon, the familiar placemats with the zodiac signs (I’m a horse 🐴—what are you?). The staff cares deeply about their work, and it shows. The food is reasonably priced, and you’ll never find better wonton soup. 🍜
Thank you for all the wonderful memories. I’ll always be a customer for life. 💕
Wishing you continued success forever.

Read moreMy family and I have been coming here for the past 15+ years. This place has consistently provided the best Chinese food I've ever had as well as fantastic service. My husband (who is not from Canton) always makes us stop whenever we are in town. In fact, when we moved out of Canton, we were disappointed to find that no Chinese place in our new city even comes close to Panda Garden.
I've tried multiple things off the menu and everything has been wonderful. Their egg rolls are my favorite. The portions of the meals are huge and I always get two meals out of it. You get a lot of food for the price you pay.
Lastly, the owners and servers are so kind and attentive. We stopped again tonight for take out and the line to get in was 12 people deep and out the door. Elaine was working the front end and was holding everything down while being polite and making sure everyone was taken care of.
This place is truly a gem and I hope to come back and visit for the...
Read moreThis reminds me of a place my parents took me when I was little! They still have the hot tea in the little cups and saucers, and the truly hot mustard on the tables, and still do the rice in a separate dish from the main part of the entree. I tried something I'd never heard of before and it was very good! I'd like to try their sweet and sour chicken because the takeout orders were flying out the door for it. Despite being busy it had a pleasant, quiet atmosphere. Also, despite a VERY busy takeout service I was still seated quickly and was able to pay quickly by the same person taking carryout orders on the phone. The staff is awesome; I never had to ask for anything. My leftovers were boxed up for me and they put a plastic bag over it so it couldn't accidentally spill. These days if you search for Chinese food it's all pretty much the same and mostly a takeout experience. This was unique and a pleasant...
