Schlotzsky's — Restaurant in Canton

I have never experienced such a lack of customer service from a manager and staff. This was on December 30th, around 6 pm. First, they didn't have correct change, and the manager told her employee I would have to wait, he gave me the receipt told me to hold on to it no big deal, it was just some change. I went to get a drink and it was horrible. I tried another drink and it was not any better, and of course one drink machine was broken. I went to the counter and stood for 5 mins or so food was brought out, soup with no spoon. But still standing at the counter, with the manager looking at me several times, she never once asked if I needed anything. It wasn't until they were bringing someone else's food out that I had to get their attention to ask about the drinks. Then, I got the wrong drink. When I was getting ready to leave, I decided that many things were just unsatisfactory and they needed to give me my change. To find out the customer trying to pay was having the same issue. I, at that point, asked for the manager. She finally came up front and didn't acknowledge any of the customers. She gave what change she had to and went back to the kitchen. Stopped in because I was hungry & needed to stretch a bit, just passing through. I didn't want a burger or chicken & Schlotzsky's sounded good.

The store was clean & so was the restroom. I was greeted warmly by the young woman at the counter & she took my to-go order quickly.

I got my drink & probably waited maybe 5 minutes max for my food and expected it to come out through the window, but no, the same young woman brought my food to me directly, wished me a happy holidays & I was on my way.

I got a medium Beef Bacon Smoke Cheesey sandwich with extra chipotle mayo & every bit of it was perfect. You know how you get those cravings sometimes and then the food doesn't hit the spot? Yeah, this was not one of those times, lol. The bread was perfectly toasted, where it had just that right amount of satisfying crunch, but was still melt in your mouth soft. The chipotle mayo had just the right amount of kick to compliment the bacon...

Sent in an online order ahead of time, and checked with the counter. It was not ready yet, so we sat to wait. Three other groups came in after that and all got their food before we did. When we went up to the counter to inquire about it, the young lady behind the counter apologized and when we explained the situation - the order had been put in almost an hour before, people came and went, etc. - she let us know they were busy. We asked to speak with the manager, Ashley, who decided she was not going to come speak with us. Instead, she yelled from the back to the person we had been speaking to that the order was ready and had been waiting. It is unfortunate that there is a manager here who does not support their staff in difficult situations and who also chooses to not make things right with...
