I have to begin my review first by saying that I had already had numerous bad experiences with this KFC location, so I had said I would not go back. Well, someone else I was with wanted KFC and convinced me to stop at this location to get food. We pulled up to order and we were never greeted. We honked the car horn and spoke into the intercom but were completely ignored. We drove ahead and saw at least two workers inside but neither would come to take an order so we drove away. As we were leaving, another car drove up to place an order and after sitting there and also being ignored, they did the same as we did and drove through without being able to order. This is THE worst run KFC I have ever been to anywhere in the world literally. One look at how little business they get and you can deduce that others recognize their incompetence as well. How this location remains in business is a complete mystery. I have now turned my desire to never ever again give this location another penny of business into a steadfast, permanent ban. I have promised to myself to never ever go back to this location again. This horrific store actually needs to lose its franchise license. The owner of this store makes KFC look horrific. If you want good chicken, go to Popeye's. KFC clearly doesn't want your business, and I would not trust the food based on how they run the location. KFC appears to care more about the franchise money than they do about their reputation because this location has been like this for years. Bye bye, KFC! You won't...
Read moreDon't normally use this location, but today it was close by. Ordered online for a pickup meal. When I got there I noticed at during what's usually a lunch rush at places, there was only a single customer inside and no one in the drive through at 12:15pm. Odd, but whatever. Then inside only saw one staff member, who once he finished his task assisted me briefly. My pickup order was prepackaged and sealed with a receipt of contents and my name on it. Easy enough. Grabbed my bag, which said on it "1 of 1" and went home. Opening up the bag, I was rather surprised to see that I had the sides, deserts, biscuits, but no chicken at all. Tried to call the store but the phone just rang and rang for minutes with no answer. Drove back, and showed them my receipt and explained the situation. They gave me the chicken I ordered originally and said a grand total of "Oh...sorry".
Seems like there is a lack of management oversight here and the staff is checked out. I get it's a fast food job, worked one myself when I was younger, but running a location like this is a wonderful way to run it into the ground.
All in all, I would recommend avoiding this location. Not a food issue (as far as I've noticed so far), but a lack of give-a-shit. Which makes me wonder how the cleanliness is and other such standards for any level of...
Read moreBeyond chicken is beyond awesome!
Available in a 6 piece or 12 piece beyond chicken nugget meal. We got the big one with fries and a medium sierra mist with some other sides.
The meal is served in the standard wax lined cardboard fold-up to go box, but it's bright green. The color really catches your eye. If you've seen the sequel to "Super Size Me," it's the same as the chicken restaurant he opens in "Super Size Me 2: Holy Chicken." Morgan Spurlock (writer and director of the documentary) explains that the green color is associated with vegetables/healthy items so consumers subconsciously think it's the better choice, or at least a healthier one. Don't let it fool you lol they are deep fried to perfection, and there's nothing healthy about that.
The overall look is that of a uniform rectangle nugget off any fast food menu, but the breading is thick and crispy - you could tell it was breaded nicely before even picking one up. The bite is soft, slightly chewy, crispy and seasoned so well! Look at the photos for the texture (I tried to get a close up). They look like you are peeling a part a real piece of chicken. It's unreal just how realistic the taste and texture is.
Hats off! I hope this is...
