I do not recommend this place!! Opened for 5 months Off to a great start For starters it was chips with Salsa Roja Chips nice looking great taste perfect amount of salt Salsa Roja great spice but strange after taste I cannot pin point maybe Smoky, not sure how I felt about it. But that SPICE WAS EVERYTHING. Disappointment# 1 I asked if they had any natural fresh juices and waitresses said Yes and gave us 2 options we picked pineapple “Fresh natural Pineapple Juice” was room temp with enough ice just to water it down not to make it COLD! Disappointment# 2 When the waitress came back around I asked her if it was from a can she she said Yes! Again not fresh or natural it was DEFINITELY DOLE BRAND from a can.
Decent amount of wait time for semi prepared food
Disappointment# 3 The Beans and rice were microwaved sent the beans back cold with a hard top from the Microwave Rice was super bland and kinda warm more on the cold side tho, but cooked well and the appearance was nice and fluffy.
The SOPES the main course
Disappointment# 4 *The Shrimp ones they did not taste great and had a smell also we asked for 2 Soped de marisco and got only shrimp Sopes.

Read moreRough experience! Started off good as it seemed clean and we were the only folks at a table. They said sit anywhere, then a 5 minutes later they told us our table choice was no good because they had a bad smell issue lately possibly from the ceiling above us, TMI. We had to move to a table we did not want. Then we waited a bit despite being the only ones there... then we ordered and it came reversed. I got chicken with cheese sause and my wife got beef with something else. Different dishes.. My wife decided to keep hers and I wanted mine corrected to beef with green sause. Of course I should have gave up because my wife ate alone as I waited forever. It finally came out and it was luke warm, cheese barely melted. It was a waste... Again, there was barely anyone there. A few more showed up as we sat. They were pretty nice about trying to fix it but they seemed to have some trouble with english and so I am not sure they really understood us. Also, they really like the TV super loud with the spanish dancing singers. It was too loud, especially since we had to sit at the table in front of it. I would try it again but they seem a bit...

Our experience at Fondita Mexicana began with a promising calm. Upon arriving, the place was quiet and appeared clean with simple decor. However, as the restaurant began to fill up, the atmosphere quickly became challenging. The tables are arranged so tightly that the space felt incredibly cramped, turning dinner into more of a crowded gathering than a relaxed meal. Despite the crowded environment, the service was truly impeccable. Our waitress demonstrated an expert knowledge of the menu, offering helpful recommendations for first-time visitors. Her attention and familiarity with the dishes were, without a doubt, the strongest point of the night. For the food, we sampled a variety of classic items. We tried the fajitas with rice and salad, a mixed quesadilla, and the chimichanga with salad. The cooking here is solid and comforting, offering generous portions. The flavor was undeniably good and authentic, though it stopped just short of being truly exceptional. It's the kind of reliable, homemade food you'd expect from a traditional "fondita" (small, family-run eatery). Final Verdict: Fondita Mexicana is a place worth visiting for its friendly staff and consistently good food. However, if you are looking for an intimate or spacious dining experience, it would be best to visit during off-peak hours. It delivers an authentic local experience, complete with the hustle and bustle...
