Honestly dissatisfied with my most recent visit. Came in and grab a couple Paletas and two small cups with scoops of Dulce de leche and another with mango. Normally we never have any issues and it tastes great. Today tho, something was definitely off with the Mango ice cream. It tasted as if a mix of freezer burn and rotten fruit. We asked the female employee if there’s any way to exchange the flavor but she denied. We tried to have her try it and see what we were talking about but she kept saying that there’s nothing she could do with nonchalant and rude tone. Her answer were “I already scooped it out, I can’t scoop it back in”, which obviously isn’t what we meant and she kept making us feel inept with those responses and rude tone All we wanted was to change the flavor as clearly something was wrong with that batch, we looked closer at the fridge and noticed the the top of the mango tin looked as if the had scrapped the remains of an older batch onto it which may explain the horrible taste and texture. Honestly it was a super subpar experience and easily could’ve been made right by us. Especially when we and others are paying $4 for a couple scoops of ice cream. Rude service by curly haired women with attitude and bad quality item perhaps not the place to spend your money at.
UPDATE: So even after YOUR product taste like freezer burn you do nothing to make it right for the consumer? I’m not saying I just didn’t like (had it before from your location) I’m saying it tasted BAD there’s a difference if you’re not understanding. And you say consumed as if that’s not what you do when you try a scoop after something you purchased I had ONE SCOOP and instantly told her it has a bad freezer taste so you want me to consume YOUR product that’s taste like a freezer ??? Wow that’s great business not even a refund offered ? And yeah rude like I was inconveniencing her from being in the back on her phone because I even asked her for suggestions for fruit flavors on the Paletas she said here and pointed at your menu, maybe get more friendly happy employees to represent your business...
Read moreI am the person she served iced rudeness to that day. The metal object hit me in the face when I walked in. When I complained, she blamed it on the “owner”. As I responded to her, she loudly spoke over me and shouted sternly “what do you want, Sir? Afterwords when I inquired about the flavor of the chips that were in the ice cream, I just bought she told me that it was chocolate. I mentioned to her that Kahlúa is not a chocolate flavor but instead it’s a coffee flavor she abruptly turned around and walked through a door into the back of the store she gave me her back and didn’t come to the front again. The chips are Not chocolate. They are a waxy substitute with chocolate flavor. It’s was $6.00. For those who don’t care, se la vie. To those that do BUYERS BEWARE!!! And yes. She was rude, angry, unprofessional and she didn’t care. Perhaps she knew you...
Read moreWe spent over $20 on 2 milkshakes a very small ice cream and a small elote..... the corn was brown and old, it was super watery, just plain disgusting. The ice creams say they’re flavored but all there is are topping thrown on top of the ice cream they serve. We asked for a refund just on the elote even after showing her the corn was old and brown she refused. Don’t waste your time
Since I can’t respond to your comment I’ll update here. Ice cream wasn’t the issue we will take that whatever it still was not good. But the elote that was just wrong I took one bite and it was brought back immediately to the counter, nobody was rude in anyway except your employee. But why would anyone admit to a mistake. It’s okay, I just won’t return. Make sure the corn is fresh from now on and not serve...
