When I was thirsting for a beverage that would quench my thirst from a hot, summer day, I traveled to a smoothie/ crepe place located on the corner of the street I was staying on known as Chill. I was lost amid the numerous choices of smoothies, so I asked the smoothie guy which kind was his favorite. He kindly replied, "The strawberry smoothie is my favorite, but the strawberry-banana is the most popular." Trusting his taste buds, I anxiously ordered one strawberry smoothie on the double. Watching the smoothie guy work was a rare sight to behold. He blended the perfect amount of strawberry with the perfect amount of smoothie with elegance and skill. I payed for the delectable drink and I was not disappointed with the flavor and texture of the smoothie. I came back later in the week with my two cousins and they wanted crepes. Once again I trusted in the smoothie guy's taste buds when my cousin was stuck between two choices, and once again his advice proved true. I had a chance to visit this little place while i was spending the weekend in Cape May for my birthday. My bf & i loooove crepes so we googled to find a place that had them. Luckily Chill was right by the place we were staying. The crepes did not disappoint! I got the strawberry nutella crepe which was enormous! & there was plenty of super fresh fruit. We also tried the smoothies which were really fresh! The owner of Chill was there & he was chatting it up with us & kept giving us complimentary refills. Well I went here almost every day for my smoothies. Very expensive, $9 but what isn't. The gentleman who works here is Hospitable, and nice. No small talk but that's fine. My issue is the gal that works with him is young and never once did I see her smile. Absolutely no people skills. You need people skills to do food service. Kids are so busy today on their phones it's sad that some lack this. She is a cute girl. I hope she learns to properly interact with people.
