Horrible experience at 11pm on a Friday night. Sat in the long drive thru line for over 30 minutes and get to the speaker to order food and no one says anything back at all. I drive around to the drive thru window and honk and a girl with different colored hair green and blue to be exact came to the window and I explained that there is a long line and I sat at the speaker for 10 minutes with no response. She goes and gets who I think is a manager a tiny girl with dark brown hair and she takes my order from the window. You could tell she had a big attitude and was just very rude and upset . Meanwhile the other cars pull behind me. One worker comes out and takes the car behind me order, she tells them to park. Another car pulls behind me they sat behind me for 15 minutes…meanwhile I am still waiting at the window for my order. Needless to say my food never did come and they refused to open the window after me knocking on it well after 25 minutes waiting. All the cars ended up leaving. Very rude and unprofessional on all levels. I would have never waited in the line to get food for an hour had my kids not wanted sonic on our way home from out of town. Very sad business. You have to have good workers to run a business. I’m sure just the hour that I was trying to get food that they lost out on probably at least 200 easily if not more depending on how much people was going to order. With a total of approximately 10 cars that pulled off after I arrived. My total I’m sure was at least 50$ if not more. Just imagine what they missed out because they have no customer service. And got attitudes...
Read moreIt's been over a year now from the first time that I went to the Sonic in Carbondale. You pull into the stall you give him an order. 45 minutes later I get my order. If I hadn't already paid, I'd have just left. You would think when their stoves go down and they can't get them relit they wouldn't be taking any orders or they would be telling the customers. Hey, it may be an hour or so. They didn't. Tried it again a couple weeks later. Still took a half an hour and their stoves were working but they're cash. Registers were not since I work in Carbondale and I do like Sonic cuz the one in Marion. It's totally awesome. Pull up the stall 5 minutes 5 minutes you have your meal and this is at lunch time and they're busy. The third time at the Carbondale I waited. I waited and I waited some more. I called their corporate office. I complained they give me $50 and Sonic bucks. This did not make my attitude any better. When I did get my food it was hot but so was my root beer float which I didn't notice until I already got back to work. How are your later they have improved. Still slow. If you pull up an order, use their app before you go. Hence things getting much better and you get better prices on some of their stuff which they call deals. Try it out. I'm not saying try it out at the Carbondale Sonic. Let's try it...
Read moreYeah, not impressed. Just got $30 worth of food for my family and ordered a chicken slinger with my food and PAID for it, they did not put it in the bag. So had to go back around and told them I was missing it, they asked for my receipt but the lady at the window never gave me one so of course that made them think I was lying then Matt came out and said we never paid for it but yes we did! It was on the screen when the lady rang it up, he told me I have to pay for it if I want it, it was $3 dude, why would I lie about that. Yes I had the money to pay for it but y’all caused a bigger scene over a $3 sandwhich and basically made it seem like I was a liar, if I wanted free food I would’ve have lied and said something bigger than a chicken slinger. He was very rude. And also when I was about to give my order at the beginning they said it would be a 20 minute wait yet they had about 10 people working and it wasn’t any busier than usual. Poor service tonight. These kids need to either do better at their job or get out of this industry if they aren’t going to pay attention or actually treat customers...
