Jacquie's is a god send. With the way things are right now, finding Covid-Friendly catering that doesn't require having staff on-site to serve is nearly impossible. I had a retirement lunch I was throwing at work & was really stressing out trying to find something other than sandwiches to serve the group.
My requirements were this - I needed 25 meals - all individually packed - and they needed to be warm when it was time to eat. I called Jacquie's and spoke with Stephanie, told her what I was trying to do & she knocked the ball out of the park. We got lasagna, chicken linguine and spaghetti and meat balls. I was worried that we were going to end up with cold food, but Stephanie went out of her way coming up with solutions for us, and even went as far as to loan us the warming containers they keep the food in during delivery.
Unfortunately, I ended up getting sick before the event & wasn't able to be in attendance, but the coworkers I recruited to fill in, in my absence had the best things to say. First of all, I was told that the delivery driver was, "an absolute delight," which is usually one of my biggest worries, if you have a bad delivery, it doesn't set a good tone for the meal. We ended up being almost immediately ready to eat so we didn't need anything to keep the food warm (yes, it was still warm).
Next, the food, I didn't get to try it, but I literally had coworkers emailing & texting me telling me it was some of the best catering we have ever had (which, as a foodie who is always using the best I can find, means A LOT), I even got people asking me if it was a restaurant they could visit (I referred them to the Cafe). I have never had such an overwhelming response to a catered meal I provided at work.
I am so thankful for Jacquie's, I can't even explain it. This is a phenomenal place and they are worth every penny, plus some. You can't beat the quality of food or level of service that they provide. 10/10 - you won't regret...
Read moreWe had Jacquie's cater our wedding last month. From the moment we began planning, Jacquie's exceeded our expectations in every way, making our special day truly unforgettable. First and foremost, the food provided by Jacquie's was nothing short of phenomenal. We had passed appetizers, a dessert table, and a plated dinner for 130 guests. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the delicious and expertly prepared dishes served throughout the evening. Multiple people said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Every bite was a culinary delight, and it's clear that Jacquie's takes great pride in their craft. From the appetizers to the main courses and desserts, the quality and presentation were impeccable. Kris deserves a special mention for going above and beyond to make our wedding dinner perfect. Kris was not only accommodating but also patient and attentive to our needs. We changed our menu multiple times during the planning process, and Kris never hesitated to guide us and make valuable suggestions. The entire Jacquie's team displayed professionalism and a commitment to excellence that is truly commendable. Their attention to detail, prompt communication, and flexibility were key factors in making our wedding day a success. It was evident that they genuinely cared about making our vision come to life, and they did so with style and grace. If you're looking for a caterer that delivers not only delicious food but also an exceptional overall experience, Jacquie's is the...
Read moreJacquie’s Gourmet Catering (JGC) review: JGC deserves 5 stars for food quality and 1 stars for service (the wedding day event management and pre-event management with Alisa Kinsel). Many wedding guests complimented the taste of the food, and pricing is reasonable for weddings, but unfortunately, the terrible service and management outweigh these strengths! Despite overcommunication with Alisa about vegetarian and kids meals, this information was not transferred to day-of staff, and dinner was delayed at the wedding while the bride and day-of planning coordinator worked to recreate this information. Less than 30 minutes later, the young event manager carelessly moved the three-layer wedding cake without disassembling it, knocking the top layer to the ground while guests watched it smash on the floor. While mistakes happen, how it was handled was bewildering: The day-of coordinator informed the bride and groom about the accident. As she was walking away from the head table, the event coordinator ran up to the couple and said, “That lady doesn’t like me! And she was rushing me, and that’s why the cake fell!” and expounded upon his blame while he continued to discharge his feelings, never once expressing remorse for the mistake. Upon the bride’s follow-up compliant, Alisa did compensate as requested. However, at the end of it all, I regret hiring Jacquie’s Catering and the headache of working with all...
