Pawz Pet Cafe/Cat Cafe and boba tea — Restaurant in Carmel

We ended up adopting a precious black cat (Darrel) from here and were very pleased throughout the adoption process.

On the day of adoption, one of the staff noticed that Darrel wasn't walking on one of his hind legs which greatly concerned me since we initially visited him a few days back and he seemed fine then. Another employee, Stacia, was extremely understanding of my concerns around the adoption and took the time to answer all my questions while showing sympathy towards the situation. I was given an antibiotic to treat his leg and am happy to say that he has been running and jumping like a newborn kitten.

We scouted the cat cafe after losing our older cat. We had two girls in mind that were available and thought either would be Purrfect. The next evening, we got approved and brought the whole family. An altogether different cat 'Snuggles' chose us by curling up in my husband's lap exactly like our old cat. She's a small 2y/o gray tabby who'd been in foster, then in the cafe the longest. She has quickly become an amazing pet for us and came pre-socialized. She set some boundaries with the loud bossy dog, loves to sit in the afternoon window sunshine and give you purrs and wet nudges every day. She wakes you up by sitting on you and purring in the morning, has her evening zoomies chasing her pompom, then will stare at you when it's her bedtime cuddle time. We've named her 'Little Sister'. I stopped in to check out Pawz Pet Cafe. They are still in their opening stages but I was impressed with the cat apparatuses they have for sale. You can adopt a cat and leave with all the goods. I was especially impressed with the organic kitty litter they have for sale. I’d definitely purchase that if/when we adopted a kitty. Then I walked into the cafe portion. I ordered a milk boba tea. It wasn’t too sweet. But they have tons of drink options and all reasonably priced.

Then I made my way into the kitty room. The set up is so cool! I was making a mental wishlist of things I wanted to get for my future kitty. All of the cats there are super sweet and there is a booklet to learn more about each kitty available.

You do not need a reservation but it is advised. It’s $10 for 30 minutes to enjoy a drink and get to know some cats. I can’t wait to take...
