The food was okay, though what I ordered was quite spicy and should not have any hot spice. However, when I came in, there were about 6 employees there working on things, but it took several minutes for someone to come take my order. Then, they started to scoop the rice, realized they were out, and walked away to get more, but ended up having to make more. They never said anything, or I would have just said the brown rice was fine. Then I stood there for about 10 minutes while they went and made a new bowl of rice, leaving the scoop of, now cold, rice in my started bowl on the counter. They came back, and just added hot rice to the rice they left sitting in the first bowl.
Then, they were somehow out of lettuce? I heard they were out of pico for the next customer as well. I go to check out, and I hand her the gift card I'd had in my hand the whole time, and she tells me they can't take that, so I need to pay another way. I literally WENT here because of the gift card since I was tight on money at the moment, then had to pay the full price anyway. Thankfully I didn't get a drink, because basic fountain drinks are almost $4 here as well!
Also, it was VERY hot and humid in the restaurant. I was going to dine in, but had to take it to go. Overall, I'd say go to the Chipotle down on 86th Street. I've never had these issues at...
Read moreUpdate 6/14/2025: I waited a year and tried again. Chips and guac were good this time but my burrito order was wrong. I don’t know why I keep wasting $20 on a meal at this place. I just keep hoping for the chipotle of the early 2000’s. But it’s gone.
Update 7/11/2024: They were out of chips again. Second time here, second time out of chips. More rude than last time. Why did I come back?
Update 3/29/2024: I don’t know why I came back here. It was worse this time than the last time. They ran out of chips and guacamole but rudely told me they couldn’t refund me for them since I ordered with the app. The era of decent Chiptole is gone, avoid this place and save yourself regret.
I haven’t had Chipotle since before the pandemic and had my expectations set pretty low, based on the steadily declining quality pre-pandemic.
Wow, so now it’s nearly $30 for a burrito with chips and guacamole. I’ve had this sticker shock with most restaurants lately - inflation, I get it. So what do you get for $30?
The burrito - from the tough tortilla, to the fact that there was hardly any meat and almost all rice. It was bad. The guacamole was great (+1 star) but the chips were stale and awful. Also +1 star for quick delivery.
I miss the days when chipotle was a delicious treat, with burritos I would crave. Not any more,...
Read moreI don't usually like leaving bad reviews but we work close to here and every co worker that goes to this "specific" Chipotle says the same thing. They are so stingy with the protein, they actually dump chicken, steak, al pastor, OUT OF THE SPOON but will OVERLOAD you with rice and beans...the portions are so small and when you ask them to give you a little more they make nasty faces at you. For as much as it costs it's terrible. EVERY other Chipotle location I go to is fine but this one is the worst. I've seen the manager interactions with customers and their facial expressions and body language is awful. Start giving people "normal" sized portions and be nice to people.. I hate that I have to go 10 mins out of my way to go to another location when this one...
