Mis Tacos 2 — Restaurant in Carol Stream

This was my first time here. I ordered a 2 taco dinner(steak and pork with corn shells Mexican style)it came with rice and beans, plus included a can of soda and got served complimentary salsa and chips for a good value imho. The lady was friendly and served us hot and fresh tacos at our booth and brought us hot and mild hot sauces in a squeeze bottle which i like, so i can squeeze some red hot sauce on my tacos and enhance the already fresh taste of their tacos. Bottom line, friendly staff, fresh hot food with 2 hot sauces. AlThough Some background Mexican music would be nice, I'd recomend this place if you're looking for hot and fresh Mexican food for a reasonsble price and served with a friendly face. Came here for lunch with the family. We got a steak burrito platter, steak taco platter, birria taco platter, and 2 tamales. Food was a lot better than we were expecting.

The place is an the small side, with 6ish tables. Server was nice and attentive. Got chips and and a home-made salsa, as well as green/red salsa bottles with the food. Tasty and spicy!

The food was very good. The steak in the burrito and tacos was actually tender, not like the usual steak burrito from a burrito place that has hard steak. The rice and beans were good, and the tamales were flavorful and moist.

Will for sure be back, as this place deserves to be on the rotation for local Mexican joints.

Edit: Had to mention that the steak tacos has more meat than any place i have ever been to. Also the Birria tacos were very tasty, and the dipping...

We walked in, walked out. We really wanted to try the food but decided to leave after we walked in and realized NO ONE was wearing a mask, it’s a small place to it’s impossible to distance the tables, leaving some tables empty in between would probably be better than the entire place with people sitting one foot away from each other and no masks. We were hesitant but decided to sit at a table, the waitress then came and cleaned the table with a dirty rag, no disinfectant.
