This place is amazing. Although we were only there briefly for a takeout order, it felt as if I timed traveled to the 50s! The resturant looks cool on the inside and feels like I'm in living in a Fallout game. The food was deliciousss, we never had chicken wings like that before- seasoned to the BONE. Tender and Juicy. They tasted like smoked turkey leg from the state fair. YUM. Now, the Funnel Cake fries brought tears of joy. That's definitely my new go to over normal funnel cake. The normal potato fries were crispy and well seasoned! The Philly Cheese Steak was seasoned, cheesy, and tender. We are making it 100% mandatory to return to this place any chance we get. This was the only resturant where everyone in our group truly loved their food, and we went to 7 different restaurants in the area! I know this was dramatic but Please thank the chefs for us, lol. What a great way to end our vacation.

Great atmosphere, decor and dining furnishings. Hot rods and historical pics from the area in the fifties. Came in for early lunch and had no issue with table. Food came out at a reasonable time for being made to order. Plenty of food options. We tried the phillies, burgers and fried shrimp. Fried okra was fresh and crispy, French fries were fresh and nicely seasoned and cold macaroni salad was straight from grandmas cookbook. Fried Oreos and the flavor infused soft serve was a hit with the family. Service was top notch. As others noted parties of 5 or more a tip is automatically included (sign on hostess stand) and as with other local restaurants, the fee for credit card use is passed along to the customer. Spent about $30 pp. parking is easy to find, but quite pricey $20 for 2 hours for the lot behind the restaurant.

This place is great. Best food on the beach. Great service. It is pricy though. Wonderful shrimp plate. Best slaw I have ever ate. My husband really likes the burgers. Beware ahead of time there is a 20 percent gratuity automatically charged on bill if you have 5 or more including kids. I don't mind tipping but if someone does not get good service it's not right to get that huge tip. We went twice this week $25 each time for a gratuity! That's al lot! Prices have really went up over the years. My shrimp plate had 12 large shrimp, 4 hush puppies , two small sides $22, seems a bit high. I highly recommend chicken tenders they do give a lot of chicken. Fry dip sandwich looks good. Everything looks good but I do think the seafood choices are a bit expensive for the servings. Overall still a great place. Will be back.

The boyfriend and I came down for the weekend to stay at our favorite motel. While we were here we decided to try yet another new eatery to satisfy our taste buds. On a Friday night, the wait was only 15 mins and when our name was called our waitress seated us and got our drink order. I got cherry kool-aid and Keith got bargs rootbeer. They were both great and very cold! We ordered two of the footlongs which were all beef and shared a basket of tots. The hotdogs were huge and the tots cooked to perfection! We had an excellent waitress and never had to wait on anything. It was so pleasant that we went back the next night but sadly had poor service from a male waiter. Anyways great food but beware the male waiter!

The experience was wonderfully quaint. Drove 3 hours from my home town to catch the beach stopped here for an evening dinner before getting back to our campsite. Wait staff was wonderful very knowledged about the dishes they served was helpful with us making decisions on food. Their recommendations for stellar I had the beef brisket and the shrimp BLT both fantastic dishes made with a lot of care. I do not think that there is much on the menu that you can go wrong with the prices are pretty decent the only issue I would say is the additional feed their card company charges when you use debit or credit but honestly the food is worth it, screw it.

When I first came into town I spotted Pop’s Diner and as set on coming by, and boy I’m glad I saw it. The staff were all a joy to be around, and the food me and my mother got was delicious. Got myself a beef hotdog and they have a real good snap to them, and despite my reservations about deep fried oreos they tasted like a perfect comfort food. My mother misread both the dishes she ordered but she said they were still good lol The interior is also very fun as you can see, you’ll be getting good food in a cozy place with some fun decorations. If you or any of your family like the retro diner vibe, Pop’s Diner is definitely the place to go 💕
