I love Korean BBQs, they're so fun! Definitely recommend to try one if you never have.
Yoon Korean BBQ would be a good start with their reasonable prices compared to others - it's unlimited meats/sides!
The La Galbi and bulgogi are the best! (in my opinion haha)
Try to only order what you'll know you'll eat though, because I believe they charge you if their is leftover meat (charge depends on how much is leftover) 🤔
We went right when they opened, so no wait. I'm not sure if they have a time limit to eat like some places do (maybe up to 2hrs?) But we were there almost 1-1/2 hours and we had a second round of meats (3 choices of meat per round). Never felt rushed to eat or leave.
They also give you the most delicious cinnamon ginger tea after you're done eating! 😋 It almost taste like a hot tamale candy - except not the hot part!
I felt staff did a great job, whenever we needed something. They also periodically changed the grill plate when it got really dirty from all the meat you're cooking.
They cleaned tables promptly after someone left, so then a new group could sit down.
The only thing I noticed, that I would improve is they wiped the table but not the tops of the chairs (where most people touch to sit down) or the menus (another high touch item). I'm not suuuuper paranoid about this, but I know some people might be. Especially as you might need to use your hands to eat. You could probably avoid using your hands, but I ended up using mine at one point to eat 😅
Overall I thought it was a great experience, and would go to this...
Read moreI was hoping to try this establishment as the reviews were generally great, but upon walking through the doors I was asked,"if I was alone " and was then told I could not be served. I found this to be very peculiarly because I was not even asked if I wanted anything from their To GO menu. I left the restaurant and called asking to speak to the manager. The man that answered paused for a second as if he was going to get the manager and then proclaimed to be the manager . (Could very well be true) the "manager" proceeding to the fumbling through his word as if he had no idea what he was talking about "stated you can only dine in with two people" and how dine out was for solo orders. I proceeded to tell him that he had never asked if I wanted a dine out order but only that I could not eat in his establishment. Getting twisted on his words after getting called out on that statement. He now states that the restaurant only does dine in. I reminded him he just said that dine out was available. I asked him to confirm which lie was the truth. He could not answer but only now twisting over his words further in confusion. At this point , after being previously refusing to allow me to speak to some one over him, he states the owner will be in later this afternoon to contact. I just wanted fair equitable treatment as a non Caucasian. I wonder if I would have been communicated with differently if I were born less brown in lieu of being denied the respect of...
Read moreI’ve been eating at this place for years. Every time I go with my family everything is great. The food is good, service is never really amazing, but I always leave satisfied. I don’t know what it is but every time I’ve eaten at this place with my white friends there is some horrible issue. First of all, they say they’re open until 10, but don’t be fooled. The kitchen closes at 9, unlike other restaurants that close the kitchen when they say the restaurant is closed and let people stay for a little while longer. First time I brought my friends, we left hungry because we showed up at 8pm. Tonight, there were two servers on the floor and that was it. There were several tables of more than four people coming in and my friends were stressing me out to the maximum, incessantly pestering me to agree to go back to Ari (the restaurant I initially agreed to go to but subsequently decided on Yoon because they have a much better deal), where we would actually get service. By the time I got them to shut up and we placed an order, we had been sitting for over half an hour, nibbling on kimchi and irritated. Huge thanks for the two guys and their hard work. I hope scheduling gets better for y’all on weekdays.
Food has always been great and I’ll continue coming to eat here, but I can no longer convince any of my friends to come to Yoon, and that really...
