I'm a new customer of Brave and fell in love with the place instantly... until yesterday. The owner was there and yelled for 4 mins straight in the backrooms. It was soo triggering. When she stormed out, she gave a fake apology saying she didn't realize any customers were in her store.
This was such a surprising and disappointing experience for me. I love the menu, the atmosphere and the employees are so helpful!
The energy changed while she was there and took awhile to balance out again after she left.
The yelling wasn't even directed at me and it took me about 15mins to fully calm down and concentrate on my reading.
I cannot support someone who behaves that way and thinks it's acceptable. Unfortunately I won't be returning, which I am not happy about because it quickly became my favorite coffee...
Read moreI really love good coffee, but even more than that, I love supporting small businesses. I stopped by today—super cute inside, but something about the atmosphere felt a little off. I was warm and friendly, smiled at the girl behind the counter, but she just seemed cold and emotionless. I was trying to remember a drink I’d seen on their Instagram and mentioned something I thought was close, but I guess I was wrong because she just said, “Yeah, I don’t know what that is.” I ended up feeling like an inconvenience. The coffee itself is really good, though.
