Generally not one to write reviews, however, the girl working TSA pre-check is extremely unprofessional. 3rd time here trying to get this done for travel because I am pregnant and we wanted to make holiday traveling easier. 1st time I am turned away because I have a temporary ID from a married name change. Understandable, no issues there. She told us to wait for the physical copy, and we did. 2nd time I go there with an appointment scheduled. There is only one other couple in line in front of me. Well, my appointment time begins, the couple finishes up, and another guy comes in late. His appointment was apparently 10 minutes before mine, but by this point he is between 15 to 20 minutes late. My husband asks if we can go first to keep our appointment and the lady responds with an attitude and sarcasm. She could have simply apologized for the inconvenience, said it was not possible, and/or let us know the wait time. So we continue to wait. Mind you, I work 2 jobs and I am a full-time student. These are the final weeks of the semester and time is precious. Like Iām sure she is, I am also extremely busy. By the time it is my turn, this lady again has an attitude and tells me she canāt help me because I donāt have a marriage certificate on me. She is the same lady who worked TSA pre-check last time, and she is the one who told me all I would need is a physical copy of my new ID and my passport. I point this out to her; I am irritated at this point but polite. I do not yell, scream, or give her any of the attitude she gives me. She even admits to my husband she just assumed we would bring our marriage certificate because we did last time. Who would know to do this? We donāt work for TSA pre-check and all we did was follow her instructions. When my husband asks her about getting his money back (he prepaid) again she has an attitude and I cannot understand why. All things considered, it was a normal question and we are biting our tongue regarding what we would really like to say. So we go there a 3rd time with all of the required documents. When they called her over to help us, she huffed and puffed on her way to her tablet. She was extremely rude, for example, she asked me to acknowledge a term. When I responded, āOkay, I understandā she paused a really long time, looked at me like I was an idiot and said I had to answer yes or no after her big pause. Why not lead with that if itās such a big deal? When she asks me to take my finger prints, she sets her tablet really high. I am short, so itās awkward to put my thumbs on it straight. Again, she gets an attitude and explains how to do it easier. Why not explain that from the beginning? When she asked me to choose a name from the screen, I told her the first option and she picked the second. It seemed intentional but I did not want to cause any other issues with this woman. She seems to be the only one who works TSA pre-check. She was extremely rude, cold, and passive aggressive the whole time like she was trying to get me to mess up. I have to wonder if the name selection was intentional, and if it will cause any issues for us. If so, this review will be a record of the experience. Someone like this should not be working with peopleās personal information. When my husband and I got in the car, we couldnāt understand why this whole process has been so difficult with this particular lady. When my husband did TSA pre-check about a month before me, he said she acted completely friendly and bubbly talking about her two identities, her Volvo, and making small talk. She made the process easy and friendly. She was very much giving me a women hating women vibe, and I was polite on all 3 occasions (though I am sure by the end she could see the irritation on my face). I did not return her energy and kept my interactions minimal, but I imagine she would escalate the situation with someone...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am standing here at the copy & print center as I type this. I have been standing here for about an hour, and I honestly can say that I have been delighted to stand here for an hour. Yes, you read that correctly... DELIGHTED. After much trial and error with our 6" x 6" wedding invitations, I came into Staples as my last resort to hopefully have our invitations printed correctly. I called before I came, and Ashley was so kind to inform me that I should bring the files on a USB drive, as I was clueless as to how to ensure the best file quality for printing. So the excellent customer service started with the phone call. I came in and expressed my concerns and previous frustrations with printing our invitations and Ashley "got it!" She showed me examples of quality cardstock, economically organized our cards per page, and even darkened my design for optimum printing and quality. ...While diligently working on printing the 3 cards of our invitations suite, she so graciously assisted many other customers. I live by treating others the way that I want to be treated, and if I had to guess... Ashley does, too! I am so grateful for her customer service, knowledge, patience, and ambition to see my design come to life. I would like to add that while tackling this large scale print job, Kelly assisted customers in the shipping services and self-serve copying with such a willingness to serve, too. I called my fiance' while standing here to tell him that we finally have quality printed invitations! Talk about exciting!! We appreciate excellent customer service... Despite not being here with me, he wanted to be sure that Ashley knows he appreciated her service, too! I have never seen an associate so graciously "pulled in so many directions." Needless to say, we will certainly be back for our small business printing needs soon! Our invitations look fabulous! Thank you! Thank...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOk, so, I needed a lot of copies of the play I wrote. I approached the copy counter and was greeted by a beautiful smile coming from Montoya. I told her what I needed and my concerns, she replied, " I can do that". She literally made my day. I didn't feel like I was a burden to her at all. When my transaction was complete and I paid for it, I realized that I did not present my 20% off coupon that I had gotten the night before. She immediately called the manager who name is Nick. He came right over, showed Montoya what to do. He smiled the whole time while helping her. I asked if the 20% was worth us going through the necessary steps in order for me to get my discount, he responded, " absolutely ". Nick and Montoya were absolutely PRICELESS to me. Nick saved me 26.00 and took the time to show me how I can save money in the future with Staples. Today, November 6th was a grand experience. Montoya agreed to put my play in the folders and have them ready for me right before closing. Now that's what you call customer service. Because of Nick and Montoya, I dont feel the need to shop anywhere else when it comes to office supplies. The customer service I received last night and today was absolutely phenomenal. Thanks Staples for having such...
