It’s a cute place with a concept but there’s a lot of room for improvement. We arrived when it was empty and the servers were really sweet and helpful. We had a party of 8 and they were able to accommodate us quite well despite us not having reservations, they moved us to an open karaoke room while the party continued to get larger (went from 8-14) a server came in and told us the room we were moved in had a reservation for 9:30 and that we would have to move out that room and once it became available or a larger room we would be able to move back to that room or a larger room with no cost difference(very sweet, very accommodating and like I said we made no prior reservations so we were fine with that and appreciated the gestures and effort being made) 9:30 comes along and we were singing a song with about 30 seconds left of the song and the server comes and and RUSHES us out, they were kind of rude about it and it felt like letting us finish the 30 seconds of the song was such a burden. Prior to that a server told us that they will try to accommodate us but there were no open tables or open karaoke rooms so we may have to wait (and again we knew we made no reservations so we were fine with that) We exit the rooms and there are only 2 tables seated with people and the entire bar is empty beyond that. We were a little baffled as to why we were told there were no areas available for us so we all gathered to make some back up plans. It took us a good 35-45 minutes to make new plans and no new people came in nor did the tables that were supposedly full get other guests seated. It was just those two seated tables and a totally empty room. We all went to the front to pay our bill and I feel like the man at the register seemed like he thought you were dim for asking a question. I a told him what items I am paying for and he just looked at me with a blank face and asked for my table number when a couple of people the group from the our party had already told him and paid their portion of that table. Mind you when we arrived, I asked the man a question about if the bills can be split and he pointed at one of the servers like he expected me to ask them instead, but reluctantly answered my question and just walked away 😒 I think the place is so cute but maybe the staff needs to learn a bit more organization when it comes to working with groups of people. They were sweet when it was dead inside but it seems like they may not know how to navigate more than 2-3...
Read moreCame here at 6:40pm with club members for girl's night out dinner expecting to do karaoke too. Initially had a good impression eager for korean food and singing/dancing to kpop remixes. However, we slowly felt uncomfortable once the music (the screens shows them using youtube on google chrome to search for music playlists) changed to hiphop, and eventually terrible edm (we listen to these genres, but they chose the worst songs for those genres). We felt like we were going to get a brain aneurism and a seizure from the bass, loud noises, and flashing lazer lights. We came here for dinner, not a rave.
Lively music is fine, but not if the floor is vibrating and my ears are exploding.
We were also told by the waiter that after losing a game, we didnt have to pay for the drinks (unaware that the games are gambling and has a price if we accept it), to which it was a whopping $14 for yogurt soju (very overpriced get them at hmart guys). To which he lied after we saw our bill being charged
Giant speakers were clearly moved to our table by 9:20pm blasting the terrible bassboosted edm music, as if they were trying to force us to leave. I dont know if they always do this, but we most certainly did not feel welcome.
As as a group of young women going out at night, the guys serving us did not make us feel safe at all.
*MOST IMPORTANT COMPLAINT: You CANNOT split a bill. Your order has to be put on one person's card, so beware if you and your friends often split bills bc...
Read moreWould party here but skip on the food… It took over an hour to get our food even though there was literally not a single other table there besides one party in the back karaoke room.
It was a late Sunday evening so I didn’t expect it to be busy but we were starving and hoping to at least be satisfied with the food. There were three of us and we ordered fried chicken, pork cutlet ddeokbokki, cheese sticks, steamed eggs and pork belly kimchi stew. It took about 15 minutes or more to just get cheese sticks then they just came out with one plate every 15 minutes after that… at the end we ended up getting steamed eggs after one hour and realized they completely forgot the pork belly kimchi stew.
This might’ve been ok if the food was actually worth it but fried chicken was essentially tasteless and the ddeokbokki was way too sweet with similarly tasteless pork cutlets. Cheese sticks were good though.
I’ve been here during a New Year’s party and it was a fun place to party so I give it an extra star for that but other than that, would not return...
