Get anything but a blizzard. I have been here numerous times. I rarely get a blizzard because I’m convinced they don’t teach them how to do them properly anymore. I worked at DQ a while back when I was younger. We were taught the way to mix the blizzard so you can turn them over, and they’re thick enough to not spill everywhere. Sometimes customers would want it even thicker which meant not mixing as much and having the proper topping to ice cream ratio or not as thick which I would add either melted ice cream or a little milk. There’s a technique to it that I feel has been lost. I did ask for my blizzard to be thicker which I was informed was beyond their control(not true; they just don’t know how to do it.) I responded with, “Oh, you don’t know how to? Because I do. I used to work at DQ.” Which I think came off wrong because once I got to the window, I was questioned on the process. Then I was complimented on how they liked my shirt and it says be kind on it. Petty, but I digress because I wasn’t trying to be rude. I only stated an observation; it wasn’t an attack. I didn’t mean it any type of way. I did say it without a filter though, so I can see how blunt honesty comes off rude. I’ve included pictures of the blizzards right after we got them. We can’t even eat them. They are a melted mess. We put them in the freezer when we got home hoping we salvage some of our moneys worth. It was a cotton candy and picnic peach cobbler. Sigh~ I wouldn’t waste my money on a blizzard unless you like melted ice cream. I blame Covid, honestly. Seems like the quality of everything...

Dairy Queen, a beloved fast-food and soft-serve ice cream chain, offers a classic and nostalgic dining experience. Here's a comprehensive review of what you can expect when visiting Dairy Queen:

Dairy Queen's hallmark is its soft-serve ice cream, and it's hard to resist the appeal of their famous Blizzard treats. These frozen delights come in a variety of flavors, often blended with candies, cookies, and fruit. The ice cream is consistently creamy and satisfying.

In addition to ice cream, Dairy Queen offers a menu of fast food items, including burgers, chicken strips, and hot dogs. While the food quality can vary by location, it serves its purpose for those seeking a quick meal alongside their sweet treats.

Pricing is generally reasonable, with various value deals and promotions that make it a budget-friendly choice.

The service at Dairy Queen is usually efficient and friendly, both at the drive-thru and in-store. The staff is known for their pleasant customer service.

Dairy Queen's ambiance tends to be clean and family-friendly, but it's more of a casual and fast-food-oriented setting.

In summary, Dairy Queen is a go-to destination for soft-serve ice cream lovers and those craving classic fast food. Its sweet treats, especially the Blizzard, are iconic and worth the visit, while the food menu provides an option for a complete meal. It's a reliable choice for a tasty and nostalgic...

I had my granddaughters this day, and we decided it was time for ice cream, so we stopped in at the Carrollton location. Yes, it was around lunchtime. We decided for the 4 - and 6 year old they wanted a dipped chocolate small cone, and I got a medium one. They took our order and gave me my change back.. yes, I know they were a couple of orders before ours. So I thought it might take a minute or two before they get to our order.. well, the other orders were for food. Ours was just ice cream .so they made our ice cream cones and sat them in their little window and sat there even longer... so I was going to reach and get the ice creams before they started to melt even more than they had . The lady behind the counter said you are not supposed to be there . I told the lady I would like to get the ice creams before they completely melted.. she said we'll you are not supposed to be there.. yes I Know they are a shortage of people working. But if you are going to sell ice cream, maybe she should have called out the order .. remember it is soft served Ice cream it does melt in this kind of weather in no time.. I know she might only fill the ice cream orders but maybe if the others are busy filling and handing out the food orders it should not be that hard to fill a couple of ice cream cones and call out the order aswell.. ...

I ordered a sheet cake for my daughter’s 6th birthday! When I called I had no clue what was possible for this cake! I requested blue and purple border the young lady I spoke to asked me what it was for I told her and she asked what else I wanted on the cake, I responded I don’t know what all is available I am just trying to make it as mermaid as I can for my little girls birthday! So the conversation ended with blue border on top purple border on bottom and pink writing of my daughter’s name! Birthday party day arrives, when I tell you this cake surpassed anything I could have ever imagined! I mean it was so beautiful, of course it taste great but my goodness the time and detail that was put into made the entire day so much more special! To whomever made this cake I thank you for exceeding my greatest expectation of what it would be, you truly have no clue the amount of happy she was to see this beautiful cake and all the other parents that were in ah of this cake, God bless you!

I love Dairy Queen for their grill fired hot dogs and hamburgers and their famous soft serve ice cream. The remodeled Carrollton store has a nice look and feel to it but does not seat lots of people so it's not ideal for large groups. There is outdoor seating for good weather. Things like ice cream sundaes can sometimes be hit-or-miss in terms of size. I've received large sundaes that looked more like small sundaes so one star off for inconsistency there.
