Smoothie King — Restaurant in Carrollton

I am literally so upset that I even have to write a review. The customer service was just HORRIBLE! My sister and I were craving a smoothie king. We have been many times to multiple locations. However, I live in Carrollton , right behind smoothie king in Carrollton off of Josey Ln. So, we dedicated to walk with my toddler. We arrived at 3:00 to o order two smothies. When we arrived there was only one woman there and after 10mins she took our order. Now we being patient as I saw she had other customers in the drive thru. Then the Second Lady came in for her shift. We waiting another 10mins before saying anything. So at this point it’s been 20mins and we have yet to receive our smoothies. My sister attempts to ask how much longer it was going to be? The lady looks at my sister and completely ignores her. So my sister comes back and sits down. I then go and made sure she saw me and heard me. I let her know that the other lady took our order as the one I was speaking to was clueless. The two ladies look at each other and the one who originally took our order said she would handle it. So I again asked how much longer and both proceed to ignore me. At that point I put up the almonds I was going to purchase and just walked away with a crying toddler. It was extremely frustrating to not only walk that way and waste our time, but leave empty handed and have to explain to my 4 year old why she couldn’t get why she wanted along with mine and my sisters smoothie. I didn’t get their name, but we both African American younger ladies and were working Sunday May 7th between 3-30. I will not be returning. Horrible employees! I did call HR, but they have not returned my call. We will see how much they actually value...

On 09/27/23 I requested a small high protein almond mocha smoothie with added peanut butter. I paid for added peanut butter. After I was too far down the road to turn back, I discovered that the smoothie did not have peanut butter. I just chalked it up to human error and let it go. Today, 09/29/23, I stopped by there again. This time, I specifically pointed out that the smoothie I bought on 09/27/23 did not have the requested (and paid for) peanut butter and to please make sure it is included in this one (I always get the same smoothie). Because the people in front of me took close to 10 minutes to decide what they wanted, I was starting to worry about the time. I was handed a medium or large smoothie (I wondered why the price was about $2.00 or so higher than the usual $7.00 & some change). I didn't have time to mess with paring it down to small). Again, when I was too far down the road and getting short on time, I realized that the peanut butter was not included; they still charged me for peanut butter even though they technically owed me for the first one I paid for. Today's smoothie had banana in it. It is a good thing I am not allergic to bananas. I don't mind paying good money for things that I enjoy, but these 2 smoothies cost me more than $17.00 and neither one was what I requested and paid for. Maybe the orders where not heard correctly over the blaring music. Even though this store is super convenient, I will not go...

Smoothies were good. The customer service was not. The man at the window mixed up our order by switching sizes(one of our drinks was a 20oz and the other was 32oz) No big deal. When we informed the man he gave us an annoyed look and said , "I guess I can remake it." Which truly he only needed to remake 1 drink, the one that was too small. He could have just poured the bigger drink in a smaller cup. He went ahead and remade both drinks. When he came back to the drive through window. We said, "sorry about that, you didn't have to remake both. You could have just poured the one that was too big in a smaller cup." He just stared at us rolled his eyes, with an annoyed look and didn't say a word . He then closed the window without saying anything.
