Horrible customer service & the food isn’t even good DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! I came here to have a good time with my family and all they did was treat us horribly my husband got there first so he was already eating when we got there they sat us at a different place so my husband came to sit with us, I understand that was our mistake and we should of told them that he had moved tables. But then they tried to charge me for my 3 year old that doesn’t eat this type of food, they proceeded to tell me he did eat I don’t care if it’s a Dollar, two, twenty, etc if my child doesn’t eat at your establishment I’m not paying i believe it was the owner that came up to us and showed me “the camera” (which you can see the cameras all over the place) and told me he did eat. I asked him to show me where they can see him eating and he walked away. Then my mom decided it was a good idea to get food to go so I told the woman at the register that she was going to get food and very rudely she said “we weigh the food” & i said that’s fine. So I went with my mom to get the food, then we came back to pay and I asked her if they weighed the plates with food together or separate and she responded with “I don’t care” um.. I asked her “why are you saying that I asked you if you weighed the plates together or separe” and she proceeded to say I don’t care again, my mom started asking her why she was mad that it wasn’t okay for her to say that and very aggressively she told us to pay and leave so we decided to leave and to also leave the food. They proceeded to follow us outside and try to bully us into paying for the food that we weren’t taking no more, and she kept yelling at me with my family present so I became a “Karen” and started yelling back then I just looked at my children and came back to my senses and decided to leave if I could give this place ZERO...
Read moreLeft with a headache, “nausea, heartburn, upset stomach, indigestion” (like from that pepto commercial)… no diarrhea (yet) but really— I knew, going in that this would be a dinner at a lower deal, so expected the factor of lower quality as well. I tried a select variety of seafood since that’s what I went in with the craving for. I’ll be honest and say the shrimp (both battered; one sweet, one crunchy), mussels, clams and sushi all seemed to have met expectations. I didn’t fall in love, but they were palatable. My 6 year old also seemed to have liked the barbecued chicken on a stick, and she’s typically a pretty picky eater, so that’s always a plus. The fried rice was disappointing due to the rice being undercooked (a bit crunchy), the chow mein underwhelming and lacking flavor, the dessert section a mess, and overall dishes unfortunately missing the mark on areas that could’ve used a bit more attention to detail, ultimately made the whole experience feel pretty haphazard. Where my real complaint lies is when the man bussing the tables (also refilling drinks), went around to several different tables, taking cups by hand, asking each person who needed a refill what they were drinking, proceeded to come back to each table with these same cups/straws to disperse, gave me the wrong drink and left me confused as to whether or not I had gotten someone else’s cup and straw… it felt like an unsanitary process. Possibly I am overthinking the situation and am mistakenly doubting his abilities but especially after going through a worldwide pandemic, it left me feeling uneasy and may have lead to this overall sickly feeling. I do appreciate the work being put in at the end of the day, but personally, will not be returning back to this...
Read moreI was in town visiting the area and was looking for dinner options. I came across this place and it looked promising. I saw reviews warning about the chow mein and figured it was safe to check it out. Dinner was pretty affordable for an AYCE. We came at 6:30PM for dinner. The selection wasn’t super expansive with Mongolian BBQ (only 1 sauce option though), 6 sushi options, 2 islands of other food, and a desert island. The BBQ was ok, not a lot of selection but cooked well. The sushi choices didn’t catch our fancy so we didn’t try it. I can definitely confirm, stay away from the veggie lo mein. It was spaghetti noodles with no veggies at all. The rest of the food was hit and miss. At first some of the dishes were cold and not at all appetizing. After they got swapped out to fresh trays, the food tasted like normal Chinese buffet. There are staple dishes like sweet and sour chicken, bbq chicken skewers, veggies, green beans, fried rice, and cream cheese wontons. There were also other dishes like shellfish, fish, coconut shrimp, and orange chicken. Overall you’re likely fine something you like to eat. The biggest downside was the dessert. The ice cream wasn’t ice cream. Many people tried it though out our dining experience and every time it came out runny with a very goopy syrup like substance. It didn’t taste like ice cream and certainly didn’t look like it. The puddings were meh at best and the fruit wasn’t great either. TL;DR-Overall, good price, ok selection. You’ll find something you like and can get full but you likely won’t be...
