Shopped here for the first time today and honestly it was a bit odd. Firstly, there's only one way in or out of their massive parking lot so of course it's constantly jam-packed and dangerous. When I walked up to the membership counter to get my card the first thing to happen was an employee trying to upsell me on a more expensive membership and store credit card. After I said no thanks they had me prove my citizenship and took my mugshot and handed me my new card. Walking around the store the first thing I noticed is there are no signs telling you where anything is. As in, there are signs that say "pharmacy" or "deli", but the aisles themselves don't have signs telling you what's in them. I found it kind of time consuming to navigate the store and had to ask where every item on my list was. Fortunately, all the employees were friendly and helpful, which was nice. The selection is adequate if not robust; the store sold some version of pretty much everything I needed. The things I did pick up were also noticeably more expensive than at Walmart or Smith's, but the bulk deals are decent and I understand that's kinda the whole point of Costco. After checking out, you have to stand in a very long line and have your receipt inspected in order to leave the building, which again made me feel like I was being treated as an inmate. Then I went to use their fueling service and was surprised to see that the price of gas was not visibly displayed anywhere before you get to the pump. But before you can get there you have to sit in a crowded line of cars for about 10 minutes. Fortunately the price of regular unleaded was slightly cheaper here than at surrounding gas stations.
Overall a different but good experience. It's a little too expensive, the store and parking lot are inconvenient to navigate, and more things should be visibly labeled, but the bulk deals are good, the food court is fun and cheap, the customer service is fine, and most importantly they pay their employees more than any other retailer I'm aware of. Will be...
Read moreThis location is terrible. Ever since i moved a couple months ago this was my main spot to shop. We spend at least 700+ dollars every time i shop here, i have a family to support and we usually go 1-2 maybe 3 times a month. My disabled aunt and I have gone to this location and theyve stopped us while we were checking out saying we had to do all this verification of our membership card that we were using. It was supposedly a "mistake" the first time. Well it happened 3 more times. Everytime we were stopped, the checkout was delayed by 20 mintues because we waited for a manager to clear it. Everytime a manager cleared our card they ALL said "we apologize it was a one time thing it wont happen again, the lock is off the card and you shouldnt experience the problem". Your employees have embarrassed us now 4 times during the checkout line. Everything was fine with our account, but you made us feel like criminals and treated us so unprofessionally. The reason why the lock was put on our account in the first place was because we used a visa gift card, the checker used our gift card, said it denied, then gave it back to us. It took all the money off the visa gift card. We explained it to the checker that the card is now empty, he sent us to customer service and the manager told us "he refunded the full amount back onto the visa card". I knew that wasnt right. We checked tha balance and you guys lied to us saying you refunded the money. We had to call your corporate nunber and they helped us it took almost 3 weeks to get the money back as a refund. I also was told today i could not come in the store to help out my disabled aunt to carry/lift stuff because one person was allowed in the store per membership card. I was super upset and the woman at the door told me "not my problem". You guys are...
Read moreThis Costco location has consistently offered some of the worst customer service experiences we’ve ever encountered. We’ve been loyal Costco members for years, spanning multiple cities and states, and we’ve never experienced anything like this until coming here.
Entering this store feels like stepping into a police state. The two employees stationed at the entrance, armed with scanners, make customers feel as though they’re under suspicion from the moment they walk in.
The customer service here is downright appalling. Over the past six months, we’ve endured a series of unpleasant interactions with staff that have been nothing short of dismissive and condescending. They treat customers as if they’re doing us a favor by allowing us to shop here, and it’s clear that respect for members is a foreign concept. Whether it’s walking in, attempting a return, or simply asking a question, the response is always the same – rude, abrasive, and accusatory.
In particular, interactions with Kyle, the manager, and several at the membership desk have been shockingly unprofessional. Each interaction has left us feeling like unwelcome intruders, and it’s disheartening that this is becoming the norm at our...
