I called in to request a specific item. I was advised that it could potentially be in stock by a certain date. Chris was completely honest and told me that it could be some before it was in stock even though it said Aug 30 on their website because the vendor is inconsistent with deliveries. His honesty was refreshing because every other company I called told me it will be in on a specific date and wanted me to place and order without asking for my needs at all or talking to me like a person. He advised me I should place an order with no money down and they would call me when it was available for immediate purchase and I would not lose my place. It was my lucky day because that same day, literally within 5 minutes I get a call from a NV number and I live in Tx and I answered. I’m like all y’all, I never answer unknown numbers, but I’m glad I picked up and Chris told me “you won’t believe this but I got one in stock” you know what I did next. I got it on lock and the Pioneer XDJ-RR controller is shipping to me for free with a discount for registering for a VIP account that you can sign up for free and the discount was massive! Omg! I have an older Stanton record player. I needed to replace the cartridge and it was very difficult finding a store or vendor that could tell me exactly what I needed since the parts were discontinued. After some additional research I landed on planet DJ and ordered what I thought was the cartridge and stylus I needed. Unfortunately those cartridges and styli were out of stock and were going to be discontinued. Debbie from planet DJ pointed me to another set of compatible styli with an included cartridge that would work with my player. When the cartridge and styli arrived it only took me 15 minutes to remove the old cartridge and replace it with the new one and the stylus. Of course I immediately put a record on to see what it sounded like and it sounded just as good if not better than the original stylus and cartridge that were on the record player. I am not a DJ so I will probably not wear my stylus down as quickly as a DJ would however if I ever do need replacement parts or accessories to my record player I will most definitely be going back to...
