POKEDOKE — Restaurant in Nevada

Came here for the first time just a couple days ago to get a large bowl to share with my kids. I was very happy with both the food and the service! The price was decent for the amount of food I got as well 🫶🏼 We will be coming back!

I ordered a large bowl, white rice, 2 scoops of salmon, 1 scoop yellowtail, 1 scoop scallops. Topped with cucumber, mango, edamame, lemon, seaweed flakes, furukake, imitation crab meat, ginger, ponzu, Japanese dressing, and yum yum sauce. I was able to share this with my 6 year old daughter and almost 2 year old son and all bellies were full!

Next time we'll have to order some macaron ice cream sandwiches (;

The food here is good, but the restaurant is filthy. This is not a good sign for any restaurant, but especially one that serves raw fish. The walls next to the toilet are stained yellow from urine. The toilet seat was covered in old urine stains and the floor around the toilet is sticky and gross. It is clear that nobody has cleaned for more than 24 hours which is disgusting for a restaurant with one bathroom. The napkin holders are also sticky and grimy as well as the ice cream machine. Only the table tops are clean.

This place is desperate for a deep clean. As a former chef and restaurant worker I sympathize with the work it takes to keep a place clean but have zero patience for those who neglect...

Poke Doke is the perfect stop for a quick healthy meal. Prior to visiting for the first time, my wife and I had no idea what Poke was. “Hello, my name is Tim and I am an addict!” Yes I am addicted to Poke Doke and would eat it daily if I could afford it. The owner is very nice and you can see he loves what he does. The staff has always friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. If you have the chance to speak with the owner on the line, ask his recommendations. I know there is another shop in town but I highly recommend Poke Doke. You won’t be disappointed.
