Five Guys — Restaurant in Cartersville

Went here to grab a burger and fries before hitting the road. I was the only customer in the restaurant this whole time I'm about to layout.

There was a mid aged woman and a 20 something y/o girl working. The former takes my order and she talks to the girl the whole time while cooking my food. I stand near a window looking out at the middle of the restaurant and I smell the pungent smell of urine.

The woman mentions about how management is pressuring them to drive sales. We'll they aren't doing themselves any justice charging $18 for a small flavorless burger and fries. (I got a cup for water mind you)

The bun needed more time on the grill and was hardly buttered. They only have two condiments out, vinegar and ketchup. I wasn't offered mayo, bbq, mustard or any other sauces from the lady who cooked my food. So either offer or leave more sauces out for people.

You're losing your mile marker as a restaurant. Esp with Steak n Shake 1 block up on the same side...

It's been a couple of years since we ate at 5 Guys... And this trip was a good reminder why... In the past 5 Guys burgers were out-freakin-standing, but now, it seems that they are just good enough to be mediocre'ish... So they pull 3 stars for me... And, yes, you still get a truckload of fries, but that doesn't make the trip worthwhile... They've always been more expensive than I thought they were worth... And now with the economy tanking, and, believe me, I understand the inflation disaster, it just seems like,on top of the price hikes, the quality of the food is really slipping... If you're a fan of 5G, then, by all means, don't give my opinion any value... I just can't see spending almost $40 on even a semi-regular basis for my wife & I to each get just a burger, fries & drink... I think, for that much for one meal, I'll be going to the store & get a couple of NY Strips, some shrimp, a couple of potatoes to bake, and throw together a much...

I ordered five guys tonight from doordash. I had a problem with doordash that I know wasn’t five guys fault. It took my food an hour and 15 minutes to get to me. When I did get it, one of my fry cups had less than 10 fries in it. I was baffled. I called five guys to let them know what had happened and I was told I had to come to the store for the problem to be fixed. I drove to the store and was then given a fry that was still not the size of their normal fry. I had to just grab the bag and walk out of the store because I was irate. All along my personal food was sitting at home getting even more cold than it already was for sitting in the delivery car for over an hour. What made me so unhappy was the lack of care given by the employees. I know it doesn’t affect them that I was unhappy, but they really did not care. I won’t be visiting this five guys...
