Mango's Ice Cream & Antojitos — Restaurant in Cartersville

Per employee “you do know we never use gloves when cutting the fruit” very disgusting. Very disappointing, I come here literally every weekend but my experience today made me feel disgusted especially with what the worker said. First of all when we walked in the young lady seemed bothered even though we walked in 30 mins before closing. The attitude was disgusting and was very rude for us as customers to see facial expressions when we walked in. Lady starts taking our order on the iPad, n proceeds to make the mangonada with no gloves. After touching the iPad that has been touched all day by various employees. She starts by putting her whole hand in the cucumber jar contaminating everything inside, processed to cutting the cucumber and mangos with bare hands and that’s when I decide to tell her to cancel the order and that I would like a refund. She calls the other employee who is here literally all the time to get help with the refund, i notified her to why i needed a refunded and this particular employee proceeded to say, “ you do know we never use gloves to cut the fruit” that is so unsanitary and disgusting. Imagine all the germs on the tablet, they are literally touching several things throughout the day and then cuts your fruit with bare hands! I had paid with a card but imagine how disgusting it would’ve been if i paid with cash. Did NOT even offer to remake it, nor did i get an apology.. I tell them it was unsanitary and she proceeds to then say “a lot of places do that and cut food without gloves.” Umm yea the nasty ones, the disgusting ones that don’t care about the health of others. But the fact that she sat there and stated that they never use gloves and tried to justify it by saying other places do it too is just disgusting. When I say I would come here every weekend I did. But not no more. First step would be hiring the right people with less attitudes and training employees the right way. What a...

I love me a good esquite! I came here not too long ago, and ordered a large esquite. Almost my entire cup was filled with corn water. My cheese & mayonnaise didn’t blend in with my corn like it’s supposed to. Very disappointed! 🙃 Paid almost 10 dollars and left tip for corn water…

I stopped coming here because this wasn’t my first bad experience. My last experiences were with very rude employees. Not using proper PPE (touching register and money then proceeding to touch food with BARE HANDS???!. Cross contamination drew the line for me.)

This place has nice comfort food and desserts. The line was practically out the door, which is a good sign. The girls behind the counter work their butt off to serve everyone in a timely manner. Just be aware there aren't many tables to sit and eat, so it's mostly standing room when the place is full

My only complaint is that there are no descriptions for the food on the menu. Which leads me to ask "What's in this, or, what's that?", at the counter, inevitably holding up the line. I can speak Spanish, so I can imagine it being extra annoying for a non-spanish speaker.

Either way, I will definitely be coming back to try...
