Loved this place. I picked up a sandwich and an orange vanilla egg cream. My wife had an ice cream sandwich and a chocolate and toasted marshmallow soda with cream. The staff, mostly youths from the area, are kind, attentive and hard working. No tipping! They pay a decent wage and provide a decent service. Health score was 100 when we visited, very impressive. The menu is limited but tight. They don't get you bogged down in options and what they provide is quality. For my experience, the turkey sandwich was thicc. Decent amount of meat with veggies piled high. They use quality ingredients, and the experience is like getting a sandwich at a traditional deli. I've never had an egg cream soda. I thought it would be chunky because the soda looks a wee bit curdled but it's far from it. The drink was smooth and full of fun flavor of orange and vanilla. My wife had an ice cream sandwich for lunch, because she's an adult and no one can tell her what to do. The sandwich was two thicc Belgian waffles with a whole scoop of ice cream. I tried a bite and their batter recipe hits all the notes of a homemade buttermilk waffle. My wife follows the Jerks on Facebook and learned of her drink's recipe there. It was basically a s'mores in a glass. If they could toast some marshmallows fluff in top, it would be legendary. I recommend checking out their Facebook page to get the latest updates and fun experimental ideas. Solid experience, lots of fun with a lively and hard working staff. I'll be back for sure.

This week the warmer weather had me jonesing for a milkshake so after work we stopped by for some local deliciousness. Mind you, this is my 3rd time visiting…and it just gets better and better each time! Being a brand new business, It is expected that it would take some time to get the kinks worked out and run smoothly, but honestly they’ve been pretty great from the get go. This time we had a ham and provolone sandwich on sourdough, a strawberry soda, a Rice Krispie treat shake, a breakfast sundae and an assortment of deviled eggs (The Tammy was so good). Everything was spectacular! They were super quick (we did go during a lull…so if they’re busy remember they’re a small, local business with limited seating due to the size and setup of the space, so be patient and be kind and know you might have to wait a few minutes-although we’ve personally never had to wait long at all). The staff are always friendly and they welcome questions about their menu and offer up suggestions easily. Go support this local business and feast on some tasty goodness this summer!

Stopped by The Jerks of Cartersville last night for a dessert run, and it was a total win for both me and the kids. I tried the Peach Milkshake, and it was summer in a cup — rich, creamy, and bursting with real peach flavor. Not too sweet, just right. You can tell they’re using quality ingredients, and it made all the difference. My kids each grabbed an ice cream sandwich — one went for The Sugar Rush, the other for The Cookie Monster — and let’s just say there wasn’t a crumb left. The Sugar Rush was a colorful dream, packed with sweetness but not overwhelming. The Cookie Monster? Classic chocolate chips cookies and cream flavor — fun and indulgent. The vibe at The Jerks is playful and creative, perfect for a casual treat night. Service was fast and friendly, and the portions? Generous enough to make everyone happy. Definitely worth the stop if you’re craving something cold, fun, and full of flavor.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ RAVING REVIEW for Jerks in Cartersville!

We had the absolute BEST experience with Jerks in Cartersville! From start to finish, their team went above and beyond to take care of our senior residents. Not only was the ice cream absolutely delicious (seriously—some of the best we’ve ever had!), but the food was top notch, fresh, and flavorful.

What truly set Jerks apart was their outstanding customer service. They knew we were bringing a large group, so they proactively called in extra staff just to make sure everything ran smoothly and that our residents felt welcomed and cared for. That level of thoughtfulness and preparation is rare—and deeply appreciated.

Every staff member served with a smile, patience, and heart, creating a joyful and memorable outing for everyone involved. We can’t recommend Jerks highly enough for group events, sweet treats, or just a casual stop in Cartersville.

THANK YOU, Jerks! We’ll definitely be back!
