Service was exceptional. Waitress was on top of refills and taking the used plates right away. Clean dining room and clean bathroom. Food was good and options were decent except salad bar options could be a bit better. Only real thing that I wasn't impressed with though is the prepackaged ice cream as I prefer soft serve or hand dipped if I'm going out for a meal...especially if it's a buffet & what buffets cost now days. A lot of buffet places are choosing to go pre packaged ice cream cups as I'm sure it's easier. Soft serve just hits the spot after a meal out for me.So I'd prefer to eat places that offer it. This is now my favorite Chinese buffet in the Carthage/Joplin/Neosho area. Every time I've been, the food has always been fresh and delicious, with an excellent assortment of options, ranging from more exotic spicy kimchi to more Midwestern fried chicken strips on the buffet. I have never waited more than the amount of time it took for the hostess to ask me how many and find seating immediately. The tables have all been clean as well. They are always bustling and plenty of families enjoying the buffet around you. The price is very reasonable, and the service is absolutely impeccable. Very clean. The buffet was well-tended, and the bathrooms are very clean. Service is very friendly and efficient. They do offer a senior discount. The tea was a little strong and tasted like it might have sat for a little bit but adequate. Prices are reasonable. No Mongolian grill. Nice selection of vegetables. Egg rolls had a little thicker wrapper than I prefer. I prefer the spring roll type of wrapper. My one concern is that the temperature of the food did not taste warm enough.
